I need tips. My husband just called and told me that he was getting me tickets to go to MN in July. Ok, I must say, I was in total shock that first, he even knew about it, and second, he is offering to send me, cause he didn't feel comfortable with me going to vegas alone.

sooo...my dilemma....

i dont know anyone up there.....is it cool to go to MN alone? And...which tickets would you get? I see they have some on ticketmaster now, or you can bid on some beginning june 11th (my bday), or you can buy the macey's package (which seats do you get?) or you can wait until june 6th and go to 3121perfume.com and buy some (again, which seats do you get?).

Then...what about hotels? Suggestions.....

Come to MN! If you still can, get the Macy's tix. 2 concerts in 1 day. U can't beat that, can u? Yes, u can come here alone, we'd be happy 2 have u!

I got my Macy's tix today. Lower level seating, not the best in the house, but you can always take a gamble tomorrow, see if you can get better. I tried with the presale today, and the seats they offered me were worse than my Macy's tix.

If you decide to come on 7/7/07, we can help you with hotels, etc., at a later date.

You're going to get unfriendly people anywhere you go, but they call it "Minnesota Nice" for a reason! Too bad your husband can't come too! The Hyatt Regency downtown is cool, they've got some great views of an area called Loring Park. You have to pay for parking there, but I imagine you wouldn't have a car with you anyway.

There will probably be less celebs/VIPs.
As someone mentioned, you'll get 2 shows, perfume and a t-shirt with the Macys deal.
You may get to see Paisley Park, First Ave, Bunkers, etc.
Plus the flight/hotel pgk costs me less from where I live.
