I agree... He could put tickets for sale the very day of the show and still sell out in 5 minutes, so nothing is impossible... He did have the alma awards aftershow at the roosevelt, which shows they can set up a stage in a minute or two...

By now you ought to know how Our Boy rolls.
He's waiting for confirmation from Ticketmaster that The BumpSquad has bought up a shitload of tickets in the 7/7/7 Target Center auction for Will Call pick-up. Then he'll announce the Roosevelt dates.

http://www.hotelchatter.c...his_Friday Prince Definitely Not Performing at Hollywood Roosevelt This Friday Where: 7000 Hollywood Boulevard [map], Hollywood, CA, United States, 900 6/11/2007 at 5:19 PM Tags: Hotel News, Celebrity Scoop, Prince, Thompson Hotels, Hollywood Roosevelt We got a bit excited, as did seemingly everyone in the music and celeb blogosphere, that Prince would be starting up a seven-week gig of Friday night shows at the infamous Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Last we heard, the contracts were in the process of being finalized and the first show date was set for this Friday, June 15. Yet a reliable HotelChatter tipster informed us that Prince will not be singing/cooking/playing jazz/shooting hoops with guests this Friday. Our source maintains that nothing is official in regards to Prince playing at the hotel, but everyone involved is optimistic. Furthermore, the above photo of a marquee touting that "the Revolution was just around the corner" was actually taken over a year ago when Prince performed at the hotel during Amanda Scheer-Demme's reign--remember her? None of this means Prince, won't do a series of shows at the Roosevelt Hotel, we still think he will, or are at least still extremely hopeful he will, however, don't get in line this Friday--there will be no show. Meanwhile, LAist has speculated that ticket prices will contain Prince's favorite numbers 3121, like $3,121 for one ticket. We're hoping he picks the wallet-friendly price of $31.21 instead.
