As much as I love Prince, I despise Macy´s. Those simple simons changed the name of my department store in Chicago. F@!K MACY´S!!!!! A true Chicagoan shops Marshall Field´s and would NEVER step through the doors of a Macy´s department store. Prince won´t get that $250 from me.

And the Target Center gig is sponsored by Macy´s. I would be in a serious conundrum if Prince had a U.S. tour sponsored by those cockroaches. Missing a Prince performance in MPLS won´t kill me.

Thank God I saw Prince in Vegas and will see him in London.

I was grumbly when we changed the Dayton's name to Fields when Target still owned the company. (Though we owned Fields for years at that point, we just left the Fields name on the chicago stores.) Then they changed all the dept store names in all markets to Fields. Then we sold them. yeah, change change change.

lol

I can't believe when I refer to Target, I say "we". neutral

UPDATE!

I just got a message from my extra super special Orgers-in-line, and they've spoken to someone from Macys, who told them that Prince is committed to performing SEVEN songs at the Macys concert (keeping in line with the "7" theme of the day), and that the performance space is a good sized room - longer than it is wide, but easily able to hold everyone - and that nobody gets "special" perks tomorrow. The first person in that line at 10am tomorrow is THE first person to have tickets for the gig.

And that's the poop. nod

Wow. The line is getting long already. I underestimated Prince's post-teen target demo.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

You can see, it's still chilly up here in Minnesota. We don't leave home without our Gore-tex.

I think its pretty cool he's playing at Minneapolis Macy's. I work at a Macy's in Missouri(which used to be a Famous Barr store) and my family and friends keep asking me if my employers can hook me up with tickets. I wish! Oh well, maybe I can get a poster/sign or something if the 3121 fragrance comes to our store! LOL

Detroit had a completely different name for the store: Hudson's. We were grumbly when Hudson's became Marshall Fields!

Have to admit I have done my usual and NOT read the whole of this thread... but has anyone checked out the site:

http://www.3121perfume.co...t-on.html#

At the bottom it says about the tickets for the 7th that will go on sale there on the 6th...1,600 of them to be exact... Is this the only place that tickets can be bought then?

(I apologise if someone has said this already...)
Or am I being totally confused and this refers to the target centre.....?

God doesn't just tells me how much he "LOVE's" me, God shows me how much he "LOVE's" me. Both telling and showing "LOVE" means to "LOVE". They go hand in hand. You can't have one with out the other. Something is spoken, then followed by an action. That is

For the person who said that Prince making a women's perfume is gay. I have one thing to say to you GO KICK ROCKS! Don't come on this website saying stuff like that. Prince isn't gay nor is him making a perfume gay. Antonio Banderas did it so like I said GO KICK ROCKS!
