Prince fans recognize the number as the title of a recent Prince CD, and as the address of the singer's Hollywood Hills mansion." The part about it being the address of his Hollywood Hills mansion is news to me. Is this correct? Does he really own a home with this address? If so, why is he planning to stay at the Rosevelt for weeks this summer? Why not stay at home and play the gigs at the hotel?  It was the house number on the original house that hosted the 3121 parties in LA. He no longer owns this home. | |

I cannot wait!! I live in Minnesota and my boyfriend is going to Macy's on friday to try to get the pre-concert and concert tickets!! They are 250 a pop but WORTH IT!!!! I have never seen him live and i have been itching to!!! If anyone needs any ideas on places to go while they are here for the concert, let me know!! I can't wait!!!!!

Yep, large gentlemen in suits are EVERYWHERE.
Oh, you mean the fans. They are there, too (fortunately). When I was fainting and needed to sit down in Las Vegas, my brave friend got me through the crowd and sat down. Immediately a security d00d rushed up and said, "You have to stand up!" I explained that I needed to catch my breath and that Prince probably would not miss my presence towards the front, ha ha. Man they have no sense of humour! Especially when I told him to tell P. "No Purple Rain!" I kid! Just jokes.

thankfully the tix are actually quite affordable for me this time around. i'm surprised...i'm seriously thinking about getting one of them $131 tickets (that is, if the hometown and online crowd don't beat me to 'em first).  I would highly reccommend getting the more expensive tickets. The closer, the better--the Target Center is kind of a crappy place to see a concert. I mean, it'll be a kick ass show no matter where you sit or what you pay, but the $31.21 tickets will be miles away from the stage, and the acoustics aren't that great..... Gotta love the Purple One...... | |

hello fellow orgers, i know this is alot to ask, but if anyone is getting in line for the macy's tix and only needs a pair, would you be willing to buy an extra pair for my brother and i? it is a 4 tix limit, and i'd much rather buy the pair from a fellow orger than double the price on ebay the next day....i can pay you any number of ways, via paypal, money order, cashiers check, etc...worse come to worse, you can always sell the pair on ebay yourself, but i WILL PAY FOR THE TIX!!! i think out first show together was the benefit show at glam slam...thats the one you talking bout right?! i think you went to one or two more shows at the park than i did....but otherwise we have done every prince show together. and carrie has been at most of them...since forever ago.
but yes...i am going to be having a wonderful time, and thinking of you all. 
it feels weird to not be a part of it and be here, ya know?

There were parties at Carlos Boozer house (actual address 1235 Sierra Alta Way) prior to the Purple ticket party, which my friends and I were lucky enough to attend. | |

He could always do a show the Saturday before and then would not have to perform the weekend of 07/07/07. It is more like 7 shows not consecutive weeks and remember, the details/deal was still being ironed out. Aside from the Super Bowl, he has not performed in an arena since 2004 and this band only has that one Super Bowl appearance on their slate. Now, as I am taking a stab at, he performs the weekend before both Friday and Saturday, it would leave him the entire week to rehearse at the Target Center pending nothing else is going on there.
