You're late. They've been on sale for a while already. See 3121.com

I agree.

It is almost time to start pestering TM for the actual tickets. It's been long enough!

The tickets might not be sent out until 5 days before the event.

In fact, I imagine they will leave it to the last minute. It causes the touts problems.

But I need my tickets at least 14 days prior to the concert. I am from Germany. And the tickets will be send to my home adress. But I'm traveling through the south of England for 14 days and end my journey on August 17 in London with Prince.

So there would be really big problem if I don't get my tickets in time.

It's not that everyone is flying to London just a day before the show. I believe there are a couple of people who do have the same problem as I do.

What about the `normal` fan?
What if I leave for say two weeks of shows?
I will miss tixx for the second week of shows while I am in London.

Their whole system (website and businessprocesses) is not geared towards the real fan. Just to the casual types. (no offense, just an observation)

So what do we do about it?

Why?
Then the problem cannot be fixed anymore.
If it's indeed an anti-tout measure they can explain. (of course there's better ways...)
If they don't they are slow and cause issues for the customers that could have been avoided.

My problem is that I paid with my sister's credit card and she lives relatively far away from my city (I'm from Germany living in West-Germany and she lives in Berlin, ca.550km from my city) and they send the tickets only to the credit card holder's address...

So that's what I found on ticketmaster.co.uk's website:

When will I receive my tickets?
[...]
International delivery takes longer than domestic delivery, therefore as much time as possible should be left for the tickets to be received. If you do not receive your tickets 10 days before you leave for the UK, please use the "Ask a Question" facility above, where our staff will look into your query for you. When contacting us please provide the confirmation number and the name of the card holder.
[...]

Then you can only phone an automated service for information:

Check your booking by phone
By calling 0870 242 4442 you can access our automated service line to check and confirm the status of your booking and obtain the latest ticket dispatch information
