Any NPGMC members meeting up in Dublin?

I havent heard of any NPGMC members who are going to dublin yet they must be out there somewhere. I did hear of a planned Dublin meet-up but not till the evening which aint no good to those of us hoping to go to a sound-check at 5pm.

Also - any idea if there's a Dublin afterparty planned and if so the likely location?

Any members wishing to meet up pre-soundcheck mail me back and well get ourselves a party goin.

Do you think Prince plans his afterparties nearly 2 weeks in advance and if he did why would anyone on here know about them?

Hi all,

There are a few threads about the Dublin show, It seems that quite a lot of people are going to "The Temple Bar" before the show ? It' in the center & there are plenty of taxi ranks near by.

The last time Prince played The Point he did an aftershow in The POD nightclub - he was joined by Bono for the Cross.

The Dublin show aparently sold out in 45 minutes so there is talk of a second show being added ?

Haha last year I lived in a flat that was just upstairs from "The Temple Bar" biggrin That was a mad place to live but a lot of fun. Anyway I wouldn't really recommend it, it's a noisy tourist trap pub. Real Dubs don't drink there anyway lol

I'll probably come over for the Dublin gig if I can get a ticket... man I can't believe how quickly they sold out. My gut feeling is that most of the people going to the Dublin gig are foreigners who couldn't get tickets for the London gigs. Which is a pity, because I know lots of locals who couldn't get tickets for the Dublin gig and were disappointed sad

Bring lots of cash ... Dublin if FUCK expensive since the euro changeover.

I think if you fill in the quantity of tickets & click continue it doesnt work ? Should say "Sold Out" though - heard it sold out in 45 minutes ?

Cork Boy here. Member of NPGMC, heading to concert with guest. The temple bar does indeed suck. If you have not been to dublin before, you should check out some of the real old Dublin pubs like the Brazen Head , The Stags head or The Palace Bar on Fleet Street.Peace 2 U.

So - despite 11 replies to my original question - we appear to be none the wiser. I know this is a discussion forum but please!

Its not a difficult question - i'll simplify:

1 - Who will be there?
2 - Who wants to meet up?
3 - Where?

???
