There is not an event at the Target Center (www.targetcenter.com) for July 7, so there is a chance.

07 07 07 seems to be a date Prince is pushing so it does seem plausible that he would do a show on that night and if he is doing a show why wouldn't it be in his hometown? But maybe that is just wishful thinking on my part.

I can't imagine he'll play anywhere on 7/7 that is NOT an official Live Earth show. That's the big deal that day, all the shows will be on TV all day long, etc.
it's basically going to be like Live Aid part 2....and him doing a show anywhere else would not look good for him.

though to add some hot conjecture to the fire, it would be HOT if he released a download-only version of his new album that day with all proceeds of the day's sales going toward live earth, and did a show in MPLS with a part of it simulcast into the live earth concert stuff.

i dunno. just grasping at stuff here.

i'll believe stuff when i hear about it from the source.
