Tickets in Post?

I bought several tickets on Ticketmaster, but they haven't arrived yet.

Anybody get their tickets yet?

It says they will arrive between 7 days b4 the concert, and perhaps as late as 48 hours. Nobody should have theres yet.

Relax?
We paid so we can have out part of the deal.
This means the ticket for now and later the performance.
There is no good reason for not sending out the tickets despite all the illogical reasons on their FAQ page.
Why wait until a few days before the show?

The presale was weeks ago. Weeks!
Even by snail mail we could have had our tickets.

Why do you need them now?..the shows are over a month and a half away

You think Ticketmaster has only Prince tickets to deal with?

I guess it's to try and stop the aftermarket sales as much as possible. It's harder to trade in 'promised' tickets than physical ones.

Anyway, what use is having the ticket now? I've still got a ticket for the Blenheim Palace show in 1993 that was cancelled! (any chance of my money back?)

Got my tickets 2 weeks ago from Ticketmaster.
Like all others, arrive within 2 weeks after booking on their website.

Ticketmaster always ask people to make calls to them 48 or 72 hours before the show if they haven't received the tickets. I guess they do this to get rid of many many phone calls.

If you didn't received the tickets yet, why not go to your MyTicketmaster to check the tickets status. It must be either in the process of printing or being sent.

I haven't seen it myself I was told thats what it says though. It could be true as it seems other people are starting to receive their tickets. But still waiting for mine, hope its any day now.

there's plenty of good reason not to send tickets out now. tickets for many shows are sent just a few days before shows to prevent people making fake tickets (which still happens regularly these days), and to prevent people from reselling tickets on fleebay. whilst many tix may be onsale on that site, it reduces people selling something they don't actually have, and then they still need to send it to the buyer. there can also be last minute changes and cancelations, so it makes sense to print tickets as close to the event as possible

btw, the OP is talking about the O2 shows as he mentions presales being a few weeks ago, and based in the netherlands

I need them until the end of July, because I will be in England from the beginning of august on - and my hometown is Hamburg, Germany. The tickets will be send to my home adress. I'm not able to fly back and forth just because of the tickets. I want them to take with me when I go to Great Britain.

And I believe there are many other concert goers from around the world who need their tickets not just 48 hours before the show.

I don't think today's postal strike or any future strikes being planned by Royal Mail will help our cause either!

by law they have to give notice of planned strikes, so alternate action can be taken if things need to be sent urgently. now there are alternate postal services, so tickets don't need to be despatched by royal mail. i'm sure they will have contingency plans if there was an all out strike and tickets were stuck in the system - ie. you bring your credit card and they can look it up at will call and issue another ticket, bringing your reference number or print out would help that

That would be okay. I got tickets for August 17th. And I need them until August 4th. That would be 2 weeks.

yeah me too i'm driving down from manchester to london at the beginning of august and i'm going to the 07/08/07 gig, so will need my tickets before going to london, as it would be ideal taking them with me, but i've also had tickets from ticketmaster and they do usually come a couple of weeks before the show, so should be okay!!

i'll start to panic if its mid july upwards, then i'll be on the phone!! lol

Wasn't there an option of picking the tickets up at the box office?
