What do you think about cameras? (think about Prince at the same time...) WRT phones: depends. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

But how would they police it? if u see a camera flash in the 100th row, who's gonna do anything about it. People took shots at the musicology shows. dont know if these were snide snaps though or taking freely. if they reckon i aint taking my phone in, they are dreaming lol As a side note, don't u think its funny when u see people at concerts etc.. and all they are doing is watching it through their camera screen. Why is that? so they can watch an inferior version later? doesnt make much sense to me.

It will state on the reverse of the ticket what is, and what is not, allowed.
I don't think they really care so much about camera phones, it is impossible to stop it happening. Put it this way, at Brixton a while back, the ticket stated 'No proffesional type cameras allowed', so I happened to have a compact with me from earlier on in the day, as I was in London all that day, so I took it in. No probs. In-fact, I remember somebody taking a flash snap from the balcony above, and Prince joked "that'll be 20,000, please!" (or similar amount) and people just laughed. As long as people don't take pictures that are commercially available, don't see the issue. Just depends on the venue usually.

It's an O2 venue.... seems a bit ironic if they tried stopping mobile phones being taken in

I was snapping photos pretty much in front of him and all of a sudden this tall huge dude tapped me on the shoulder and aksed me for my camera (non digital at the time). I said no and he said yes, so I gave it to him and he removed the film and handed me back my camera back. The suck part of this was that not only did I have P's pictures but I had several people on that film. Me and Rosie Gains, some with The Time and Terry Lewis, Doug E Fresh. Also...the venue Studio 54 were it was held was selling disposalable cameras along with Prince memorabilia. Like I said...I knew better...I was just caught in the moment - literally!!
