My friend who was with us had just seen robin's show last sunday at bimbos, so we he complimented him on the gig. He thanked us and that was pretty much it. Robin was there to enjoy himself. It must be hard to go out and do something like that with all kinds of people coming up all the time. but he was polite to everyone but was smart to keep it short. What was cute though was that whenver there was a lyric about love or your woman, he would glance over to his wife and give her a smile. Nice to see he's in love with his woman.
and still, I can't beileve all the naysayers for this show. These must be the hardcores folks that have seen his vegas show 20 times. I mean fine and dandy, every act has played better on certain occasions etc.. but anyone who says that show wasn't good is crazy. I see a LOT of live music. That show rocked. and No, it wasn't my first prince show. babooshleeky said: monkeyfish said: Robin was in the seat right in front of me. He had a great time. groovin all night long. One funny moment for me was being in the lobby as Larry and his companion were leaving (just ahead of the end of the show), dressed all in black (including his signature hat). As he walked out of the FRONT door of the Orpheum, he was handed one of the souvenir postcards by someone who had no idea he was one of the performers. He graciously accepted it, and strolled out unmolested into the night. The door person had zero idea. She was about 25 years old. Thanks for all reviews ! I AM LOOKING FOR USED PRINCE CONCERT TICKETS ... https://www.facebook.com/...erttickets

thanks for the great concert info and reviews. I can understand feeling disappointed after spending so much money for a ticket, but I ask that you consider this from Prince's perspective for a moment.
he's written thousands of songs. he loves performing live he has toured around the world for about 30 something years now. if he keeps playing hits and hits only, he's going to be bored. he is, not us, but he is. so he plays covers. Hearing Prince do Come Together, or Crazy, or some other song would be very interesting to me. I wish he'd do an album of covers. or blues. or blues piano. or comedy songs like movie star This is his passion, and way of earning a living. You don't want to get bored at work do you?...so sometimes you mix things up a bit. So does Prince.

ooohh snap! sounds like ya'll had a cool time, wish I could have been there. I agree with many others when they say that Prince needs 2 B bold & kick off some shit that truly please the crowd. I would love 2 hear ballads like "She love me 4" me & Dorothy Parker, Te amo corazon wich is a great song 2 dance Rumba 2.....& funky jams like superfunkycal. & bring back Macio Parker. Replace Purple Rain with"the Ladder"

Sheila was there with her brothers and father. That was pretty awesome. I enjoyed myself. I just want something new. All the people around me were dead. Some people left. What the hell is that about. M It was still a good show though!! i didnt really mind the "usual songs" but i couldnt believe that i saw people leave as well!! it sucked a bit for me b/c the ppl in front of me were taller than me and werent even dancing. they were basically making out in front of me. i finally had the nerve to tell them to either dance and stop making out or sit down. they chose the second option and then eventually left thank god! and i got to see with a perfect view the man i admire so much! the cool thing was before the show i met robin williams and neil young!! i could believe my eyes when they sat by me. And Sheila E and her father and her brothers were amazing!!! and shelby J's rendition of Gnarls Barkleys Crazy was awesome too!! and maceo parker!!and oh boy it was just too much fun! i definitely danced the night away!! I guess you could say i was a bit starr struck! haha Peace, Love, and some Purple Rain!!

They decided that they were going to talk to each other through the whole concert. All they were saying to each other was "I'm so drunk. Oh my God!" What the hell is that? I could see the fans that have been to Vegas and then paid these prices, being let down. Especially after the "...150 song..." remark.
I've got to call a lady that it was first show now. I hope she enjoyed. I told her to forget the price tag when she gets in to the Orpheum. At 3121 there was little lady I let move up, so she could see. Then her boyfriend wedged in to make out with her every 5 minutes. I was like WTF. Go back to the room all ready.

You know. I don't even think it's that I have seen other shows of his. I can't put my finger on it.
And I hope people don't get me wrong. He was solid just predictable. M MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits"
