prince august date, any other opinions please!!

hey people, would appreciate some advice, i got a ticket for the 1st night in block 115 row u,.....and from what ive been reading most people are saying that would mean seeing the behind of prince and the performers,.....
....i also got a ticket for a later date in block 107 row e(which would be viewing the front of the stage),.....do you think i should sell my ticket for the first show??
because im worried ill just be seeing the back of prince the whole evening

Given that the shows are in the round it is highly unlikely that there is a 'back or front' of the stage.

Watch the lovesexy tour he performs all over the stage! Panic not!! smile

At the Lovesexy shows, Prince performed about 75% of his time to one side. There was a "front" and a "back" even though it is in the round.

The same will happen this year. Just watch the superbowl performance.

He will rarely walk around the loop of symbol is my guess.

I agree. There will be a good end a bad end. So which end do you think the circle will be at? Block 115 (Ticketmaster plan) end or block 107 (Ticketline) end. I can't believe the Ticketline guys have it right otherwise the arrow would be pointing towards the end with the fewest seats? What do you all think?

I hope the ticket master map is right. I based all my seating on that!

See Tickets are the second biggest agency after Ticketbastards...sorry, Ticket master.

I normally always use See Tickets, but because of the pre-sale, I bought through both.

Instead of gauging the upcoming August dates to the Superbowl performance, you might consider looking at the Musicology tour instead.

The Superbowl show was very short and pouring rain.

I was blessed enough to see the Musicology tour at an outdoor venue, but it was not in the round.

From what I remember reading about the in the round shows, there was an area that was kinda behind the band and/or some speakers, but they still were not HORRIBLE.

Hope that helps.

Why not base it on the superbowl. Its the only performance using the exact stage in the up and coming tour??? smile

The shape of the stage is the same, but as I mentioned above, the Superbowl performance was too short and in the pouring rain, to compare it to a full length concert.

So you think that people's viewing angle will change because the show is shorter?? wink

No Oh Squirrely-one, I think that he will have more time to go around to all parts of the stage instead of staying more in the middle.
