If you could see one thing on the Planet Earth Tour...

Prince claims that these shows will be the best he's ever done...thats a huge claim to live up to by his own standards.

If you could see one thing that would make your night (seriously...no willy waving etc) what would it be.

Mine would be to see him sat at the piano playing....none of the quick tinkle on somebody elses synth etc or that horrid space aged thing from Rave

I would love to see the proper looking piano that he used to play (during the D&P/Act1/2 times with Damn U/Beautiful on it).

He seems to be content with just guitars in recent years....let see him do everything like we know he can.

Hell, while we are at it...let him loose on the drums!!!!

Playing the drums would be cool, I saw him do it in a soundcheck during the ONA tour. Now look, you have 23,000 people screaming and getting all sweaty, the last thing I want him to do it sit at the piano for half an hour singing "my ol mans a dustman". No No No. Guitar please any day.

Oh, I dont mean all show...I mean in a Lovesexy show kinda way...you know maybe 10 mins - bit of a Starfish & Coffe, How Come U dont Call, D&P, Nothing Compares medley.....have a bash on the drums and get back to the guitar.

The whole reason Prince is a genius is because he plays everything (except hornz Im told).

Lets see him do it in a Mary Poppins / Dick Van Dyke way...strap 'em all on and let him go

My wife is going to see Prince for the first time, it will be my second. I would love for him to play some slow jams; the gruv where he "sings to YOU". Adore, Insatiable - along those lines.

hell yes. as long as he plays lots of guitar, bass and perhaps pray even
some drums i will have the best possible night there.

some piano ain't too bad, but i'm not to psyched about a 30 minute piano
interlude.

although, if he sang one or two complete songs it would rock. i'm just a
bit bored of the medley stuff. just when you get into a song he cuts it
short and goes into something else.

what i really want to see on this tour is him doing complete songs from
start to finish, perhaps a little extended groove on them.

from what i've heard on the vegas shows he seems to be going more and
more into that direction again. less snippets and more complete tunes
and that's great imo.

coolest thing would be a blistering hardrock guitar heavy version of
Days of Wild. it works so incredibly well live.

Let him add a decent rhythm guitar player (a la Miko, etc) and do some funky stuff. What about horns? What about floor access for mere mortals with some braincells in place?
Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Days of Wild would absolutely rock.

Yeah, i'll second the suggestions that have already been put forth. Complete songs (no medleys ), and a little some piano time.

Sorry to keep going on about the show at Koko, but he did play some funky keyboard (stevie wonder style) during one song (can't remember which one). Really brief, but sweet.

Definately. He did that in London at the first nights soundcheck on the ONA tour. It was indeed awesome.

The version of Anotherloverholenyohead he did at the superbowl press conference!! I loved that song the day I first heard in back in '86. Oh and if we're dreaming I would love to see him bring a real star (instead of Winehouse) up on stage with him... David Bowie

if i could make it to any of these shows, a full version of something in the water/d.m.s.r./almost anything from 1999 would be amazing.

but, this is prince, that's not gonna happen. lol

1) i join the full song no medley idea.
2) full version of 'condition of the heart', with him on the piano of course. i just love this song.
3) Sheila E on stage and switching to drums like in the brits. doing the dance on drums !! yes !!
4) alot of horns long groove jams and jazzy sound, like on the one nite tour
5) focus more on music and less on sexy dancers (as much as i love thouse too ,, smile )

the list can go on and on but i will stop ..
cool
