More dates coming Soon!

NEW RECORD FOR PRINCE
Zoe 13/05/2007
IT took just 20 minutes for Prince to sell out his seven-night run at the O2 centre - a mind-blowing 280,000 tickets!

Now the snakehipped legend is expected to announce seven more dates at the former Millennium Dome.

I was at his intimate gig in Camden on Thursday with my celeb pals Mika, Peaches Geldof and David Walliams.

I'm counting the days until he's back!

Are these seven more added to the September dates? Or are the seven mentioned simply the ones he added beyond August 14?

This is in todays paper so you would expect it means extra dates on top of the extra dates already announced!

I hope!

This is the Mirror, people. Savage, thanks for keeping us all in the know but the Mirror's review of Thursday said he played a cover of Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares 2 U! eek

My parents get the Sun, and the review in there was crappy too...he played for 2 hours and disappointed fans with not playing any hits....then listing Kiss, Girls and Boys, Cream to name but a few (apparently most of the gig was tracks from his latest album....errr, no, just 3 tracks from 3121 actually).

It amazes me quite how wrong the papers can be about something that you just can't really get wrong!

Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest.

Anyway, I was there, front row - when he came into the crowd it was into my hands that his lovely little bottom landed (I put my hands out because he appeared to be falling and it was instinct rather than a conscious grope I promise!). And I am still on a high, can't quite believe how amazing this night was. Sorry my Prince pals couldn't be there to share it with Daf and I but we assure you, we know how lucky we were!

280,000 tickets for 7 nights? That'd make the O2 Arena the biggest in the world then with 40,000 seats. The O2 complex is 23,000 seats.
We all know that new dates have been added on top of the first seven so why can't the tabloids ever get their facts right?
All orgnotes and emails requesting trades or how to acquire bootleggage will be ignored. - The ThreadKiller -
