I think this whole thing is very, very optimistic. I think he could do a few arena dates but they would have to be spread across the country, say 2 in London and 1 each in Birmingham and Manchester. This O2 arena is going to be about a 17 to 23 thousand capacity, no chance they'll get any where near selling all 7 out. The club dates would be amazing to go to though. I think if he wanted to make an impression again over here he should play Glastonbury, yeah that old nugget!

I possibly only speak for myself but the fact that London is getting yet another set of events is just sickening to me.

Yesterday afternoon I was trying to arrange a baby sit for August or September, a flight and a hotel, stupid me. With every minute I checked the ticket site, concerts were sold out. But it went so fast that I doubt it were all fans who bought them. I think a lot of opportunists bought them to sell for a terrible high price, check Ebay and you'll see. They sell 2 tickets for about 400 euro, madness, they cost 45 euro a piece. I'm pretty mad, I got 2 tickets for 07 Aug but they're not seated together so I hope to be faster for the next 6 shows!!

Hi all.

We're a group of spanish fans trying to buy tickets and it's been a fiasco. The title of this thread isn't true.

Tickets were selling from thursday in a pre-sale for O2 customers, and there are still tickets today available for all shows, mostly vips but also others. But, the selling system is horrible, chaotic, and it will hardly give you tickets the first 100 tries.

We think this could be done on purpose to generate all the hype and confusing everyone so we get to the actual situation, fans trying to buy anything.

By the way, there are lots of tickets already available on ebay, and there's one web selling tickets for all the shows at very expensive prices, 2 and 3 times the original price.

It's all pretty disgusting for us, 21 shows are a lot of shows, and The O2 is big.

well I am of coure (as ever) ecstatic that he is coming 2 play with us again.
Friday being my day off was ecstatic that I would be able to get online and get booking tickets.
I feel UTTERLY disgusted that all these tickets sold out so soon as I was in a so called"queue" for 15 minutes that led to no tickets available at this time. Some hours later browsing the net I find all these tickets available on different sites that somehow the price has inflated to hundreds of pounds. I have been a fan since Purple Rain era and thoroughly enjoyed all the times I have seen him live, floating home on a cloud of happiness.Money now rules and it STINKS!! What about you TRUE fans PRINCE??? Oh and thanks Prince Org for the e mail 3 days LATE about the show in Camden koko show. I could not go as this was 3 days ago.

IT took just 20 minutes for Prince to sell out his seven-night run at the O2 centre - a mind-blowing 280,000 tickets!

Now the snakehipped legend is expected to announce seven more dates at the former Millennium Dome.

I was at his intimate gig in Camden on Thursday with my celeb pals Mika, Peaches Geldof and David Walliams.
