ZARIA7ETAN said: OK, so I just called ticketmaster. I have a VIP ticket for the 11th August - GAO 7 on the booking.
I asked if we would be allocated seat numbers before the event and if so how these would be allocated. I was told first that he 'thought' there would be general admission i.e. no seat numbers and just a scramble to get seats. I told him that this couldn't be the case as some other people who had bought VIP tickets from other sources had already been allocated seating. He then went off to speak to the person who is in charge of ticketing for this event and came back to me. He then said that seating would definitely be allocated prior to the event and seat numbers would be sent on our tickets. He also said that seating would be allocated according to the time when the tickets were bought i.e. the earlier you bought them, the closer to the front you will be. This seems the fairest way of doing things, so I hope it turns out to be the case. [Edited 5/30/07 11:37am] That's what I said a while back when I got the e-mail from Ticketmaster. But thanks for backing me up. [Edited 5/30/07 13:28pm] http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

As this backs up your conversations with them I reckon this is the most accurate info so far.

i wrote to two ticket agencies which are advertising a diffrent seating map for the 02 shows, I asked them why their seating map was diffrent to the one on ticketmaster, this is the reply from the 'my events ticket' agency:
Hello, We've used an alternative seating plan that shows the floor blocks in detail, as the TicketMaster one does not do this. Regards. and... Hi, The seating plan came from one of our contracted suppliers when we purchased the tickets. Thanks. I don't know wheter to believe them or not, but this seating map does look more accurate. I am still waiting for the reply from the other ticket agency. I cannot find the other thread in which someone posted this alternative 02 seating map from ebay which 'my events ticket' agency has put on ebay, so i have put this message in this thread: [Edited 7/6/07 12:17pm] [Edited 7/6/07 12:18pm] Feel free to send me a message and add me as a friend on 'My Space' http://www.myspace.com/murtazaarif

[Edited 5/30/07 11:37am] Booked VIP tickets for 11 Aug for me (GA0 63-64 Zaria7etan!)and my twin sister as a bit of a one off treat! Woohoo! I was a bit concerned at how vague the seating plan and VIP description was but I am not thinking 'what the hell'? I will be in the company of a bunch of Prince fans partying in London so it's bound to be great what ever happens! Anyone know what time they are getting to the pre-bar on the night?
