Board at the Savoy Pier and enjoy a pre show party with live DJ’s, Deck Top BBQ and comp bar, whilst cruising down the Thames towards The 02. Disembark at the 02 pier and transfer direct to your HOT seats.
There's no mention of seat locations anymore. I don't mind them charging what they're charging but now it seems like the first tix were sold under false pretense because they're not guaranteeing floor seats it would seem. And there's still no explanation of whether the cruise is available for other dates than the first night. Why feature it on the site if it's only for one night???? Oh well, the saga/drama continues. i got on 2 ticketmaster about this because of the arrival of the "mid tier" seat on the VIP packages, after two days i finally got a guy called tom who told me that their info had never been changed, but we all know their makin this up as they go.i was offered a refund as their may have been different info from a link that led me to ticketmaster when i told him i had went to ticketmaster direct not through any link he still offered me a refund even thou the have a no refund policy. Tom told me that they could not guarntee where my seats where as the event promotor will issue rows a and seats closer the date or on the date, when asked why i had a row and a seat number he said that was just to track the order isn't that what the order number is4 ??? seems the couldn't org a piss up in a brewary. so i took the refund, i got tickets for the sat anyway it was an impulse buy so am now £240 up and lookin forward to more shows @3121, ah the good old days when all u need was to skip school head to the SECC @ 6am front row centre with the out stretched hand those where the days of wild hit me nat no?

The fact that they gave you a refund when EVERYBODY knows TM does not do this, tells you that they know they're pulling a bait and switch meaning sell the tickets by promising a certain seat then changing the description of the package after the fact. That's some 4 real bullshit!

Just curious...how did you guys get VIP tickets? Is anyone able to get them?
I really wish he'd bring the music club back so the true fans could get the preferred seating.

I really wish he'd bring the music club back so the true fans could get the preferred seating. anyone could buy them starting from roughly 7pm last thursday. Quite a few still available but some nights are sold out. Main problem is no one really knows for sure what these VIP tickets get them in terms of where they'll be sitting or how it will all be allocated.

There are so many fair weathered fans out there that he should really bring the music club back to separate them. I'm jealous, I hope you all have a fabulous time!

The whole VIP experience is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I bought the tickets under the influence that I would be within 10 rows of the stage. I believe most of us did that.
I have never known anything as disorganised as this. I must look up ticketmaster number and see what different story they give to me.

i think everything is cool for all us VIP ticket holders, because the only official info we had of our seats was when we brought our tickets in which it said it will be first ten rows on the floor or mid-tier. the people at ticketmaster who we speak to when we call ticketmaster have told me that there is no other official info from the promoters so everything else for now is just guesses.
i think everything will be cool for us [Edited 5/17/07 14:16pm] Feel free to send me a message and add me as a friend on 'My Space' http://www.myspace.com/murtazaarif

there is no mid tier indicated on seating chart which seems to change on a daily basis, spoke to someone at ticketmaster last night who says there will be a section reserved by a red rope for vip on the night and you will b allocated a seat nearer the time or on the night, don't worry guys we will get good seats for our money i'm sure.

Just spoke to Ticketmaster. I got told that the seats are all General Admittance to date and they don't actually know where everyone is going to end up.
The woman was very nice and I think she was tired of being asked the question. I guess we will all find out more as to how it will actually work a few days before the first concert or after the first concert. I guess I am pleased that I am not going opening night so at least I have heads up as to what the process will be. It will be terrible if we all have to scramble for seats like on a low budget airline. Guess we will all just have to wait and see.

I guess we will just have to wait and see and not bother to speculate anymore!! Its out of our hands now!

This is the latest reply from ticketmaster.
That's correct; we attempt to allocate seats in the VIP area according to the time they were purchased. I say attempt because we have to ensure that groups attending together are seated in adjacent seats and so sometimes we use single or paired bookings to fill spaces. Improving all the time! Previous to this reply: Contrary to the information you've been given, we've now been advised that VIP tickets for this event will be allocated in the First 10 rows on a first come basis. So you will have a pre-allocated row and seat number and won't have to get there early to get the best seats. The VIP area is separate from the £31.21 seating and these will not be in the first 10 rows of the venue. http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

I bought 2 tickets for the VIP cruise and 2 Gold circle VIP tickets for 14th (at the time that was the last date!). I did get a refund from ticketslave for both because the descriptions had changed, no grantee where you'd be sitting / this first 10 rows of the lower tier thing came in. Nothing gold about that. I checked my card and the VIP Tickets for the 14th hadn't been refunded. Called them on the 0161 385 1138 number (thanks for that Igo2DaMax) and they hadn't put it through, so check your refunds guys. Now going to 5 of the gigs dotted around the venue so will be seeing the shows from all angles in the cheap seats but luckily from lower tiers, Saved a ton of cash and will get to go to more shows and make more noise. We were lucky to be at the front at Kokos too when Prince stage dived onto us Have you noticed if you call ticketslave on the 0870 number before 10am they say to call back because of high caller levels but you get through on the 0161? crazy All this has nothing to do with Prince, we know he would just want his fans there to have a great time.

i'll say this...i'm looking forward to the shows, but if my vip experiences are not what they should be,if i do not get what i paid for i will be on to my legal advisor and will insist on a refund, if that doesn't happen with enough complaints from other ticket holders i'm sure we could invite ticketmaster to join us on tv's watchdog.

OK, so I just called ticketmaster. I have a VIP ticket for the 11th August - GAO 7 on the booking.
I asked if we would be allocated seat numbers before the event and if so how these would be allocated. I was told first that he 'thought' there would be general admission i.e. no seat numbers and just a scramble to get seats. I told him that this couldn't be the case as some other people who had bought VIP tickets from other sources had already been allocated seating. He then went off to speak to the person who is in charge of ticketing for this event and came back to me. He then said that seating would definitely be allocated prior to the event and seat numbers would be sent on our tickets. He also said that seating would be allocated according to the time when the tickets were bought i.e. the earlier you bought them, the closer to the front you will be. This seems the fairest way of doing things, so I hope it turns out to be the case. [Edited 5/30/07 11:37am]
