I think the cruise is just a one off, it includes food and drink on board the boat and direct entry to your seats.

The VIP tickets include pre-show drinks at private bar...

I think it's a rip off, over £200 to be near the front.

On the ONA tour, we were at the front, Prince came into the crowd and chatted and then he done a soundcheck for us.
The after party was free and we again had the chance to meet Prince.
All for £65.

this is an arena tour tho, on a far grander scale with expensive stage and lighting/crew etc. The one nite alone tour was a room with a band in it. Also, considering madonna and barbara streisand charge £200 for normal tickets and george michael is charging £50 to stand on a football field i think its not 2 bad.

u get pre-party with entertainment, free food and a free bar and the best seats and some people are saying we get a free goodie bag (tho thats not 100% official) and i think we will get priority access to any aftershows. Prince isnt totally mean hearted

also u only got the opportunity to purchase those good seats on the ona tour if u forked out £100 to join the club in the first place.

I think your find it has nothing to do with Prince.
It's just a money making exercise.
And the £100 you say we forked out to join the club in the first place, i didn't relise that was all we got?
Did you miss out on the CDs? and the downloads?

Don't get fooled by the propaganda.

im not being fooled, i just think its a fair price considering 95% of the tickets are £31.21 , the ppl who wanna pay premium prices get premium seats.

Also the pricing is negotiated between the promoter/venue and prince hence why they are £31.21 (prince requested that b the price)!

I've done the deed and got VIP for 1 Aug!! If anyone is heading on that date then happy to meet beforehand. Well worth the money as far as i'm concerned, especially on the opening night.

These must already be seat allocated as people wouldn't have different GA0, GA1 - GA15 etc plus seat number 8 + 9 etc.....

If not it would be like a scrum to get to the front. People fighting to get on the front row as we have to be there for the buffet already!

sounds like row 9 seats 28 29 but dont quote me on that-vip tickets include first 10 rows of lower tier(i think...) all a bit confusing ,dont worry though will be a good view(you get what you pay for!)

peace , be wild , and get ready 2 party!!!!!

I just bought two VIP-ticket for the 7th. An impulsive deed, but as I'm too afraid no new dates will be added... and as it's been 5 fucking years since I've seen the man. sigh

Don't know if I should sigh or be really excited. woot! It is a lot of money, but on the other hand, it is Prince.

Orgnote me if you're going on the same date and want to meet-up. My friend and me are planning on staying a few days in London.

I don't think it is strictly mid tier - the seats marked as Gild Circle on the seating plan are directly around the stage and on the first few rows of the mid tier, blocks 101 - 103 and 110 - 112... thats what it looks like anyway!

peace , be wild , and get ready 2 party!!!!!

I still cant help not feeling its a bit not fare.
In order to be a real prince fan you have to be rich.
A person who dont have that sum of money, which in most countries in the world is very very very much, will not be able to see prince from close.
maybe its because i am a little gelouse and maybe i have a wrong picture on rich people, but i imagine most people who will be able to afford the VIPs are posh people who are not necessarily real fans and defenatly not the real groovy ones. If it was me i would prefare the "real" people in my first row. but i guess i am not prince.

As for me i hope that by some miracle he will give an after hour party during the week i am in london that i will be able to see 'cuase its my dream seing him preform from a close.

cheers to everybody who got those VIPs

Have you noticed how the description on the 3121 website has changed for the vip package.

It now says....

Prince VIP Reception and Gold Circle seating

Enjoy a pre-show party in The White Bar, with Buffet, complimentary drinks and entertainment.

Transfer to the very best seats within the floor seating and 1st 10 Rows of Mid Tiers.

The mid tiers do not sound very good to me. Maybe it helps to explan the difference between GA0 and and GA1, 2, etc
when did the change happen i bought them on fri mines GA4 phoned ticketmaster but they where no help, i did't pay £240 for tier seats when i got great seats for £37.21 a few rows back!, it defo said the first 10 rows nothing abnout mid tier did anyone else notice this before they bought them?
I am a little confused.

Prince has a history of ensuring that loads of fans have enjoyed intimate concert and club experiences at relatively modest prices. This tour would appear to be his first foray into pricing some of his tickets at market prices. He's years behind many of his peers in this regard.

Show business never has been and never will be a social service. It's unrealistic to expect performers -- who make a living performing and who are reputed to offer the best performances money can buy -- to never let the market dictate what they charge for their performances.

I've paid anywhere from $31.21 to $175.00 face-value to stand stagefront at small club gigs and anywhere $78 to $125 for front row at concert halls, knowing full well that Prince was charging considerably less than the market could bear.

I don't like the idea of a $470 stagefront ticket, but I understand it. It means we have to seek and scramble for other opportunities for more modestly-priced intimate experiences. They'll come.

Just get out of my way when they do. wink

Most of Prince true-blue fans -- like some of every other artists true-blue fans -- are the greatest people in the world and make for wonderful company. Would I want front row seats or stagefront access distributed on the basis of the lengths to which people were willing to go to show their true-blue fan-dom? Hell, no! If that were the case, we'd all lose out at every venue to scores of KoKo CooCoos ready to knock The Little Fella down and hump him at every turn.

Market pricing was used at Rio / 3121 LV where Booth seating was premium rate and that didn't get you stage front, so I would say that this follows the pricing structures set up in the US.

I'm not counting on being front and centre (did that in Vegas smile ), I reckon that it will be a hell of an experience pre-show and a great gig - I'll be blissed up no matter what biggrin

They've changed the description to the VIP Cruise option on 3121.com again.

Board at the Savoy Pier and enjoy a pre show party with live DJ’s, Deck Top BBQ and comp bar, whilst cruising down the Thames towards The 02. Disembark at the 02 pier and transfer direct to your HOT seats.

There's no mention of seat locations anymore. I don't mind them charging what they're charging but now it seems like the first tix were sold under false pretense because they're not guaranteeing floor seats it would seem. And there's still no explanation of whether the cruise is available for other dates than the first night. Why feature it on the site if it's only for one night???? Oh well, the saga/drama continues.
