We're going Aug 1st - VIP on the opening night - COOL

Row GA5 - Seats 19 and 20

I assumme this is fifth row from front. Not bad at all - I was about 8 rows back when I saw him at Birm NIA I think. I swear blind Mayte looked at me (or that was probably wishful thinking!!!!) Cant remember which tour that was?? Having a blank moment.....

Anyway - the option to buy gold circle is great as far as I am concerned. Plus a BBQ cruise on the Thames - CANT WAIT!!!!

No - you cant have too much of a good thing. We have waited sooooo long to see him live over here. I was at Koko and I have just bought VIP.

12th wedding anniversary sounds like the perfect excuse. When I asked my wife this morning if I should buy them, she said "So thats your Birthday present sorted" and my birthdays in March!!!!!

KOKO was great - without a doubt - a real in your face experience - a bit similar to the Celebration at Paisley Park a few years ago..... the other thing they have in common - hot and crammed!! This would be an altogether different experience....seat near the stage without having to join a queue... now that would be something!!

YOu are lucky - you have an understanding wife (or was she trying to get it easy!)... I have to convince my rather sensible husband to spend the money!! Then again I could surprise him and put it in my card.....

I"m VIP for the 4th of august (Might take another one for a leter date) through seetickets because Ticketmasters wouldn't allow us no-uk to enter our delivery address. Hope the seats will be good anyway (ordered them at about one in the afternoon).. Judging by the seats some got I guess I don't need to wrry that much...

You do what you feel is right.

it isa big decision. Kat has never seen Prince live. I have and sat at the front many times. I promised her a great view and this will be it.

I had hoped to propose to Kat at a prince concert but did not ever think he would tour this year. Wish i had waited a couple of months. That would have made this even more spectacular.

So what happened to the VIP cruise package for 264 pounds? I only see that for the first show and the rest is just the regular VIP package.

disbelief VIP and the cruise are TWO different things. Different package descriptions AND prices. I asked several posts up what happened to the cruise package after the first show but no one's responded.

biggrin biggrin biggrin I'm soooo excited, going to burst.

I see a lot of you seem to be VIP on the 1st or the 11th? Anyone VIP on the 10th. We are GA0 18-19. Back again on the 11th but in the first tier. Been going to Prince concerts since 1986. It's just a feeling you don't get anywhere else. Roll on August!

Have you noticed how the description on the 3121 website has changed for the vip package.

It now says....

Prince VIP Reception and Gold Circle seating

Enjoy a pre-show party in The White Bar, with Buffet, complimentary drinks and entertainment.

Transfer to the very best seats within the floor seating and 1st 10 Rows of Mid Tiers.

The mid tiers do not sound very good to me. Maybe it helps to explan the difference between GA0 and and GA1, 2, etc

I am a little confused.

If the VIP tix are in the mid tiers, I don't think this is such a bad thing, if you're short like me and right up at the front of this new stage (like at Lovesexy '88) you won't be able to see a thing, so being a bit further back and a little higher will be great.

I know exactly what you mean about getting a seat where you can see. I've got tickets for 2 different dates where i'm in the lower tier. Tempted to get the VIP ones as well but if it involves standing i know i'm not going to see much at 5"2.
