Telemarketers, Bill Collectors and Fanatics

Did he just play this on the Saturday night in the UK?

I read somewhere else that he played this at the celebration in Minnie earlier in the year (and there are boots of this flying around!)

Anyone have the lyrics or any more info on this song?

He played at the 2002 Celebration first - then on Saturday. It was listed on the setlist as: telemarketer Blues
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

Ok, I´ve just listened 2 the song again, but I am not sure about some lines so I´ve put them between brackets..

Telemarketer blues

Some People call me crazy
Some people call me all day long

I just wish them telemarketeers leave me the blank alone
I used 2 use bad language, now I just use Caller ID
If the number looks suspicious, I just pretend it ain´t me

Telemarketers, bill collectors and fanatics,
they can all jump in the sea

Some people claim 2 know me, ask me 4 autographs
I don´t worship they [show me]
I never chose this path
I´m just trying 2 B a little old guitar playing man

Telemarketers, bill collectors and fanatics,
they can all just move their blanks on 2 another land

Telemarketers 2 the left of U, bill collector 2 the right, the biggest fan in the front saying
"I´m gonna leave my husband 2night"

Telemarketers, bill collectors and fans
U know what, I love U 2
But not the band

I Think he actually says: "I'm gonna leave my husband tonight"

That would fit with the whole biggest fan line.

I like the lyrics to this song.It sort of has a jazzy aspect to it very similar to The Dry Cleaner From Des Moines from Joni Mitchell's Mingus album.
