Not a hope in hell. Never not managed to get tickets for a gig if I've been online when they go on sale - and that includes the last five Glastonburies (our luck must be about to run out there tho'!).

But thought was going to be out of luck this morning eventually got block 404 row J on the 28th - by which time would have taken any. It looks high, but at the side of a round stage, so hopefully will be fine.

Yep. That's a minimum of 235 Pounds for floor tickets. A bit too expensive.

Paulsbass just mentioned he got floortickets: http://www.prince.org/msg/12/227057

Probably the VIPtix. I thought the Uk always had standing arena tickets, unlike the US who usually had seated concerts. Oh well, I got lower tier for one show, I guess that's not bad. First Prince concert where I'll have to sit down. Damnit, he ain't Eric Clapton!

Seriously guys, it's NOT sold out. Ticket retailers do this ALL the time. They go around claiming things are sold out when they really just slowly release the seats over time. They can be listed as Sold Out for a week and then suddenly front row will pop up out of nowhere. It's not fair but if you're dedicated and keep checking online all the time, you get lucky.

You get the best seats on the actual day of the concert, but that's for risk-takers - it's so scummy of them because it's the "casual" fans that get the best places.

It just depends on the concert and the artist's wishes. Lots of Wembley Arena gigs have extended front standing area. The whole of the floor at the stadium is usually all standing. Sometimes Hammersmith's floor is all seated but most of the time it's standing. Brixton Academy is pretty much always standing for music concerts, but they stick seats in for things like comedy events.
