very excited, haven't seen him since wembley 98. Who else is going?

Best I could manage was block 417 row J for the first saturday night.

I get the feeling the upper tier was released after floor and first tier sold out... because I was repeatedly getting "no tickets available" for the first half hour. Then suddenly I was getting results when selecting "best available", except only seats halfway back in the upper tier

Right now you can still get the odd upper tier tix for the odd date. Just keep retrying. That is if you want to sit in the upper tier for a 20,000 seat arena...

I guess I'll take my chances again tomorrow with everyone else.

Did anyone else not realise for the first 15min that the 02blueroom link would simply send you to Ticketmaster? Man, that was dumb of me. The main problem was that the 02blueroom server was completely overloaded for the first 15 minutes, leaving me looking at a blank screen, even though Ticketmaster was probably working fine.

Generally... grr. Bring back Controversy or NPGMC or a proper fan club.

Seriously, if you managed to get seats in the lower tier (blocks 101-118) you did well.

I remember getting much better tickets than this in the old days (that's before the internet!) by just ringing up Wembley Arena when they went on sale to the public. I'm not certain what's up with the system these days, but despite having computers everywhere, things are worse, not better.

Although I will say, the 31.21 ticket price is a breath of fresh air. Nice one P, much appreciated. Compare with Police tickets... Their deal was a total stitch-up - pay a fortune (like 100 pounds or something!) to become a "member" of their crummy tour site and only then you had access to the presale, where you could pay another fortune to get so-so tickets in a rugby stadium. Dreadful.

Got tix for Fri 10th I wanted to go Saturday as well, travelling from Manchester and was gonna make a long weekend of it. Have to try tomorrow or hope he adds Manchester.

There's a seating plan somewhere. I reckon block A3 and D1 or D2 were the closest/best floor blocks. Lower Tier Block 103 to Block 111 were the best from memory (they were from one side of the Symbol, around the "arrow point" to the other side of the Symbol (this is assuming Prince spends most of his time walking up and down the cross, arrow and swirl of the symbol, rather than the circle where the band plays). You best check the seating plan though.

I got news for ya, there are sets of 2 seats easily locatable in the lower tier for Fri 3rd

Message is dont be greedy trying to snap up 4 seats...just get what you need

I think we have been spoilt before. Even though i have tickets for two nights am disappointed at the location. BK 107 for Sat 10th and BK 405 for Friday 11th.

I am curious as to when the VIP tickets quoted on 3121 will go on sale and for how much. If it's not soon we will all have tickets. Is this a cunning plan to sell us all two tickets per night?

I'm just checking back at the moment and they seem to be releasing tickets for the lower tier now...getting closer to the stage !!

We're definitely getting stitched up by Ticketmaster here... An hour ago there were no tickets available for any dates. Now there are tickets all over the place - except on the floor of course. I just managed to get first tier tickets for the last night. The site also (at 11.15am) offered me closer seats (although still in the second tier) for the first Sat night than the ones I managed to get at 9.30am. That makes me a bit angry. It seems like "best seats available" actually means "random seats somewhere".
