Who's got the worst seats @ the O2?

Reading the posts of fellow orgers regarding the Earth tour
tickets, this got me wondering, who exactly has the worst
seats for the O2 venue. Also, in contrast who has the best
seats.

To help U along I have put the Seating Plan link here

BTW I'm sitting @ BK 411, row D

I got row Z which sucks pretty bad. At least it's on the downstairs area smile

There are still ticket available at ticketmaster in the bottom tier.

We got BK 116 Row U 482 and 483 which looking at the Plan, could mean that we are gonna be staring at the back of Princes head for most of the night.....

We also have 402 and 403 upper tier.

I think it was £20 for a car. £15 was for a coach.

Maybe we could all hire a double decker. Altogether now "We're all going on a Summer Holiday..."

if we all buy a coach pass then we could buy ourselves enough space to have a bit of a kick-about before the show starts...

Block 417 row J for Sat 4th. That was the first tickets I was offered after pounding the site continually from 9.00 until 9.40. smile

An hour later, I suddenly managed to get 1st tier for the last night. Go figure.

If they'd made floor tickets available for just ONE night (any night, wouldn't matter) to fan club members, that would have been good. You can't tell me they no longer have the NPGMC database.

Instead, it looks like his die-hard supporters are going to be scattered around the nosebleed seats. Whoops.

BUT....

On the plus side its only a 15000 seater venue.

Put that i perspective for my fellow UKers...take your average football stadium and put a stage in the middle of it...nice view from all angles eh??

But wait...even the smaller of these stadiums are 32000 (well Pride Park is anyway)...so shop that in half.....VERY nice view

Nobodys got bad seats

purpledoveuk is probably right. It is impossible to tell exactly the distance form the stage based on that seating plan. It's only a diagram. I bet things seem a lot closer once you get in on the night.

oh, and a bit more perspective

The London Apollo (ONA shows) is a 9000 seater venue and that was very intimate, you couldnt possibly have had a stage in the middle of that...so an extra 1/3 PLUS in teh round would still eb quite cosey

Wembley Arena is 12000...never been to a Round concert there but I imagine the views would be pretty good from every angle....whats another 3000 seats...1 more row.

Ny the way have you seen the seat numbers for the 02 blocks...there only 10 - 15 seats in each row...smallis he.

The only thing I am dissapointed with is that there was no 13th August date - That would have been the 21st Anniversary of the first time I saw Prince live !!!!

Can't have it all eh !!!!! razz

Ah well, thats open to interpretation....the O2 VENUE site said ONE ALBUM TO BE POSTED OUT with every order (Hence teh postage costs)

Whereas

The O2 ticket site said Album with every ticket TO BE COLLECTED ON THE NIGHT

Im glad its not November....My wife would be giving birth alone!!!!

Only kidding...although its typical of my luck....after the ONA show we vowed, despite the huge cost of tickets then, that next tour we would go to more than 1 show.

Then comes along Prince with his cheaper £31.21 tickets.....and I cant afford to go to more than 1 show because my wife will be heavily pregnat, we need to get hotels for the travel (cant expect to drag her around)...AND we need teh money for the baby.

Of course I dont mind at all really

Ok, i'm confused - on the seating plan - isn't the right side the front of the arena? The left the back?

But that's what i said... biggrin

I dunno, i just assumed he might spend most the night heading towards the front. I've never seen one of these shows.

So, would block 116 be as good as 106..?
