3121 Appreciation Thread So many of us made the trip out to Vegas that I thought since this good thing has come to an end it would be nice if we showed some love and gratitude. If you post, list the days you went and where you’re from. I’ll start it off…
December 8 (concert and after show) December 9 (concert and after show) From Chicago, IL Thank you to Prince and the band for affording me the opportunity to experience one of the most amazing weekends of my life. Your dedication to your art is a beautiful inspiration. The concerts and after shows were two of the best live Prince experiences that I have ever had. Thanks for keeping real music by real musicians alive! Thanks for giving me a reason to fly out to the desert. Thanks for creating an experience that allowed me to meet some awesome Orgers/Quakers. (Holla Randee & Kelly!!!) Thanks to Mike Philips, Cora, Josh, and Maya for being mad cool. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with all of you. Each of you had the warmth and familiarity of an old friend. Thanks to the staff at the 3121 Jazz cuisine for being so kind and professional while under so much pressure. Thanks to Lena Morgan and all the chefs at 3121 for giving me a reason to do some extra cardio when I returned home. That mocha dessert thing was off the chain!!! Thank you to Prince. Thank you for sharing your marvelous gift with us for nearly three decades. Thank you for being so fearless and for taking risks. Thank you for never bathing in complacency. Thank you for always reaching out for something new. The 3121 Vegas Experience was another unexpected Prince trip that will forever reside in the memories of many Prince supporters. Finally, thank you Prince for being so gracious and inviting. Meeting you was, hands down, the biggest thrill of my life. The experience is indelibly planted in my heart and mind. Your name is Prince, but to me you will always be king. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

Detroit, Mich The performance by Prince and the band was truly of "Majestic" form. I never ever would have imagined in my most wildest dreams that I would be standing within 5feet of Prince( I could touch the back of the gentleman's head that was exchanging Prince's guitars).3121 will indeed be a relishing lifetime experience for me. Prince is the only P there is and will always and forever be. He does not need to be King...Kings grow old...but a Prince...Prince stay young forever. Love you much Prince and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the 3121 experience in Vegas. To God be the Glory. Lemme

It's too bad more people didn't post. It would be nice to see all the different dates and places that people traveled from to experience 3121 live. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

I'm from San Francisco and here is my 3121 lineup:
Dec 9 show and aftershow (I went for my 24th birthday with my boyfriend) Jan 26 & 27 shows and aftershows (main room both nights) March 30 aftershow only March 31 show (couldn't into aftershow) I have to say that I had the time of my life! I've had many Prince-related depressing experiences (Prince in concert on the night of my Senior Prom, Prince in concert the night we had our Winter Band recital senior year--or the worst--making the trip to Chanhassen in 2000 and not being able to get into Paisley Park!) but I'm really glad I hung there. I was grateful to have the chance to experience my idol in the most intimate of settings and bask in the sheer intensity of his music. It was mesmerizing and other worldly. At the 26th show Prince held my hands and looked into my eyes, not romantically, of course. I was standing right in front of the stage and he reached down to grab my hands from up there so he could sway with me from up there. (and Jamie Foxx was right, don't look directly into his eyes, it was the most intimidating experience of my life!) and got to dance side by side with him onstage later on. I can't say I EVER thought that would happen, but 3121 made that possible. I think we were able to see Prince at his happiest and most genial in a really long time and although the club is "moving" to L.A., that atmosphere can't be recreated. I, for one think it was a once-in-a-lifetime event. I mean seriously, how many fans someone like, say, Barbra Streisand and Michael Jackson would kill for the experience we were all able to share? I also relished the chance to see the band Purple Reign twice and I think they are simply amazing. I also would like to mention all the incredible people I met along the way, hopefully they won't mind me writing their government names for the world to see. Bianca, Scott, Jane, and the other people whose names I forgot or neglected to mention were a joy to meet and talk with, because I made three of those trips ALONE. I don't know about you guys, but the lights in Las Vegas will shine a little less bright when I go there now, after having that experience at the Rio. January 26th
I had just flown in from England, checked into the Flamingo and then headed on over to Rio for the gig. So glad that I had just gone GA, as we ended up front and centre... a real result for my wife at just over 5' She was able to compare heel heights with Prince Well, I just wanted to say that we had a great time (and saw Lovesexy82 do her thang lol ) All of the other people around us were fantastic too, generally enjoying a great time. Roll on the UK o2 gigs, but the 3121 LV experience was so intimate it'll take some beating Viva Club 3121, Viva Las Vegas

I went to Vegas twice from London England Feb 9/10 With aftershow on Feb 9 which was so much more than I could ever have hoped for - loved every minute and it was money well spent. My gold/silver sequin dress made sure I was noticed. Then again 9/10 March and again it was a wonderful night - even managed to buy myself 2 Cloud guitars and am in heaven that P is coming to England - will try and be there every night to give my support and love. He's given me so much joy over the years and so much of himself to his music - of course I am little sad that he is taking some time out but I am glad if thats what he wants to do I am sure that music will always be with him and that he will always be doing something but touring must be tiring. Thank you so much Prince for all the wonderful years of music and love you have given us.
