CHIVAS (ME) Rocked 3121 onstage with PRINCE!!!!! I went to the PRINCE concert last night and got there late, The line was so long i didnt think i was going to get in and was thinking about leaving! When i did get in, i was hoping to get really close to the stage. I got really close but almost had to fight some ass! When prince finally came out, I couldnt belive i was that close to my biggest musical influence! I took me forever to relize i was right in the front of the real PRINCE!!!!!
This one lady told me i look like prince before he came out, been getting that since high school! The music was so funky! LARRY GRAMM tore up that bass!!!!! SHELIA E Ripped those drums to peices!!!!! When they SHELBY? started bringing people onstage, the were getting them from the sides and i was in the middle of the stage so i did not get picked. I asked this guy in front of me to let me in for just a second so i could try to get there attention, and he laughed and said no. I thout my chances were over until about 2 minutes later, when I think shelby? The girl that was singing with Prince at the super bowl started to bring a couple more people up, I have never moved through that many people so fast! I stepped up onstage and was like oh shit im up here ! I started to hit and the people started to go crazy!!! I was getting down for bout 30 seconds and prince came from the side with his bass and was playing some funk. I stepped back for a second until he started getting really funky!! I couldn't help but to get down right next to prince! The people started going crazy and prince looked over and was shocked and was smiling giving me an okay your actually kind of good face still playing the bass and i started to air play the bass, it was the shit we were making funk faces and mean faces at each other, i was 2 inches away from Prince I was not able to belive i was on stage that close to prince participating in making a little moment is his show!! Then i had to get into it! The crowd went crazy and prince was smiling and he was putting stops in the music i I would stop right on cue and he was checking, and he was very impressed!!! PRINCE walked to the side and told the crew to turn the House lights off and give me a spotlight! I got my own solo in the middle of Prince's last show at the rio!!!!! I dont remember what i was doing i was out of breath out of shape due to not dancing anymore!! I got down with the twins in the back, We were all rocking that stage i was in the front the whole time!!!!! Getting down with the twinz and prince and shelia E!!! She grabbed me!!! PRINCE came and shook my hand SHOOK my fucking hand for getting down onstage with him, the musical gen himself!!! And gave me props onstage!!! The twins hugging me and later so many people thought i was famous, The bartenders in the club said i was the man and said i ripped it, stage people the box office manager everyone! Walking thru the rio after was crazy! I was getting stopped every 10 seconds everywere!!! People were all pointing at me it was nuts and i loved it!! Some thought I knew Prince, So many people thought i was an audience plant and was part of the show, This other lady said i looked like Prince's son up there next to him!!! People were name dropping MY name to to get into Princes afterparty!!! ( I missed getting in because i was in the giftshop staring at the white and blue cloud guitars wishing i could buy one but they were all sold out and they wouldnt sell the last 2! Damn!!! I got in at the last 30 45 minutes but not in the invited guest room. I was to scared to sing or play guitar with all those legends onstage PRINCE, SHEILA E, LARRY GRAMM, MACEO PARKER, RENATO!!!! Princes guitar playing and RHYTHM made me laugh cause it was so ridiculous!! I could not stop smiling and staring at his fingers like a zombie!!! He did this blues song that was so nuts! His guitar tone was imppecable, again i loved it!!! My playing needs alot of work!!!!! I always said if I were to get onstage with Prince or Michael i would get down and not look like a fool! I was actually able to get the spotlight from my biggest influence, tear it up, get a solo in the middle of the show with just on spotlight on, and get his seal of approval!!!! Hey, Chivas, baby! This is the girl, T, that chatted with you outside the aftershow and gave you my email address. I'm sooo glad you got on the org. Honey, you did the DAMN thang on that stage on Saturday and it was so much fun watching you dance and watching Prince give you MAD props during the performance. To those of you that didn't see this performance let me tell you that not only is Chivas an awesome dancer, this kid actually looks like Prince's long lost love child. I swear it looked like Prince was on stage with his son.  It was too cute. Chivas reminds me of old school Prince circa Soft & Wet. So in other words, a total cutie! | |

Hello Chivas, we didn't speak but i saw you to the left of me,i was the short person being swallowed up by the crowd with the illuminated neck sign. I saw when you got on stage and i saw you do your thing, I know you felt honored being soooo close to the great one, it truly was a beautiful thing.
You totally rocked the stage, i too thought you were part of the show. You said you hadn't danced in a while, believe me it did not show, you looked like you belonged up there. [Edited 5/1/07 16:50pm] How many times u look 4 happy, and the rich aren't there. | |

First time at Webster Hall during the filming of the Musicology special... I was in the back just doing my thing and he put his hand on my shoulder and guided me down the walk way to where his mic stand and i just lost it and the second time was at the Musicology Tour (first night at the Garden) I just walked by the stage and threw my hands up like what's up and he remembered me and brought me up again and even let me sing ( and i can't sing) but that didn't stop me from having a good time... I'm Happy for you.. I wish everyone who loves him can feel that feeling when someone you love acknowledge you personally | |
