LA is a lot better than Vegas to a lot of people, so I'm happy he's going there.
I stopped doing the hyper-fam line standing thing years ago, so to me it really doesn't matter where the venue is exactly. I would *never* stay in a downtown LA hotel again. I did a few times and got robbed twice on Sunset. No sense in staying in the city anyway ... surrounding area is beautiful and I'd rather have breakfast with my feet in the ocean than in someone's smoggy dogpoo. I dunno - I personally hate going to venues on Sunset. Its waaaaay too backed up on Fri and Sat nights. I think downtown would be cool/different  agree... downtown LA has been a happening spot for word-o-mouth clubs this year... and parking spots everywhere!! [Edited 4/28/07 20:11pm] | |
