Prince in Iowa Okay, I'm new here and a huge fan (obviously)
I heard on one of our Iowa radio stations that it is rumored that Prince will be performing in a club in des moines, I searched for it and found a website...housequake.com.....that had a whole write up about it then the people who posted after it said it was an April Fools Joke.....anyone know anything about this. As you say, it was a joke. They made out he was building a theatre/club in Iowa for a 3121-type club thing from what I remember. If you read it, you could tell straight away it was a joke, the media that reported on this are clearly brain-dead if they believed it. | |

 Hey! No one can make fun of Iowa unless they've had to live there!  It's not that bad....I mean, it's not like South Dakota or Nebraska.
Okay, okay, it is pretty bad, but again, not as bad as SD...or even worse--North Dakota!! Hey Marcy!  I grew up in northwestern Iowa and went to undergrad at Drake....then left Iowa as soon as possible after graduation.  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa.
