Why was aftershow cancelled? Just heard the aftershow was cancelled tonight and they were giving refunds to those who'd already purchased wristbands. Also heard it was not $70 but lowered to $31.21. That's great! Anyone know why it was cancelled? And show review anyone? I'm itching to know what went down tonight. Live Love Laugh! | |

Apparently the aftershows will now be in the club itself! I was told by someone who plays for him on Saturday when I attended that he wasn't feeling the crowd and wasn't in that great of a mood. I was there Friday with some of the fellas from The Time waiting to get in which didn't happened either and when we finally saw them letting people out, Monte's first comment was "look at the expression of these people". We saw no excitement, no smiles! It made me nervous as to what I may expect the next night when I actually had tickets and a table. And, yes tickets were available for the aftershow for $31.21 and then refunded. Review from this weekend is coming...need to sleep for a bit! | |

What was wrong with that crowd? Did they leave their plus sign at home? It's hard to just stand there at a Prince concert and not feel the "soul of the music". Didn't they know how to shout some "ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh oohs" back at Prince like when he so passionately sang "Satisfied"2 weeks ago? Prince sang that song with so much passion that his awesome screams alone makes you want to raise your right hand up and start testifying..guess we're gonna have to give them some lessons on how to throwdown at a Prince party    ....anyway look forward to reading your review .[Edited 4/16/07 18:49pm] | |

 All it takes is someone, or in this case a portion of the people in the room to be a "downer" and it can spread like an virus...soon the whole venue has lost any potential energy and everyone is feeding off each others down vibes.
So sad...I hope the rest of the shows for this month are full of happy and positive vibes. I love you Prince....Good Luck!  He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...  | |
