UK Fans, the Paris experience. Is it worth it?

Two Premium Member tickets at $39 each. Soundcheck, Q&A, Front Row Seats + Afterparty.

British Midland return flights at £57.80 each (expedia.co.uk)

Leave Mon 1040 Heathrow, Arrive Paris (CDG) 1250
Leave Tues 0935 Paris (CDG), Arrive Heathrow 0950

One Nite Alone with Prince so no accommodation needed LOL

Total cost approx. £81.80 per person.

(pretty good value given that I'm paying $100 each for the London concert on saturday...)

According to amp you can get EasyJet return flights for £34.85. So you can knock another £22.95 off this price.

Good deal!

Al

Looks like we're gonna take the long way home 2night... nod

Just checked again. Only difference is that Easyjet is operating through Luton as opposed to Heathrow, and the times are not as travel friendly. Either way, great value!!

I've been thinking about it all day, but I think im going to end with a no.
There is too much hassle for me, a non driver to get to a airport which is not close and back and all the problems i'm likely in Paris to encur. Plus I'm already missing enough of uni for the London shows! smile

Still in my dreams I will be there.

So true, but it is my final year, I have to show some willingness to learn. And going from Birmingham is too expensive, thats really the only airport I can get to term time. Still I would LOVE to go!

only 58 mins for £500 to fall out of the sky now! smile

Even from B'ham you could manage the experience for under £150 and still have the most amazing time. Provided of corse that you are an NPGMC premium member. Students always have a little debt to pay off anyways...

It's tempting, what about the Eurostar?

Not sure how much that would be, or where exactly it gets into but basically it's reasonably cheap (although not as cheap as the flights mentioned excluding travel to/from airports) + it's bound to be reasonably close by to the action...

Scratch that, it's 80 quid and only if you are under 26. It does put you right in the middle of Paris from the Middle of London.

If you got the spectacle we had in 1998 (and didn't leave early for the aftershow that didn't happen) it's worth it.
