Thank God Prince xtended his 3121 gigs at Rio thru April! I thought I was going 2 miss them al2gether since I couldn't make the other shows due 2 schedule conflicts! I was so xcited 2 learn his staying 4 another month this morning!! I just ordered my tix thru Ticketmaster 2nite 4 April 20 and April 21!! I got them 4 $125 each (I wanna make sure I get them at those prices b4 it goes up 2 $250). Anyone else going in April? I wanna meet up with others those nights since I'm going 2 the shows by myself. As far as the after shows r concerned, I can buy those then, right? or should I buy them in advance as well? Looking 4ward 2 the concerts and meeting up with other orgers there!!

I am going April 28th.....But the only VIP is the rental of a table for $375.00 a table of 4, no dinner package available!!!! Which leads to the question: Is there going to be an aftershow, since it was "hosted" by the restaraunt? I asked Rio and they did not have an answer.

The rep said that ticket prices will be going up so if you’re going buy your
tickets now.

Also, there's a convention in town the last 2 weeks of April so I advise that you book your rooms now. I tried to re-book at the Rio but they're charging $400/night which is more than I paid for 2 nights this past weekend. Just a heads up.

Thanks, but that's just too soon, and I am not related to the Rockefellers $$.. I'm still recuperating from this past weekend's show and that'll take a while. But I'm hoping that maybe he'll get to the East Coast soon as many of us have travelled out to Vegas to see him since the club's opening. Hey he could bring the 3121 Club and Jazz Cuisine to Atlantic City, New Jersey for a couple of months during the Spring or Summer... that would be awesome.

I heard the tickets are now $175 thru Rio but still $125 at TM, but who knows how long that will last?

Okay, don't forget that over the room charges, the Rio charges $100.00 deposit per day that they put on hold until the day you check out if you pay with a credit card, and release that deposit back to you when you check out.

Example, for instance, let's say your bill from Thurs - Monday (checkout Monday) is about $577.00 for your 4 day stay, they will hold $100.00 per day from Thursday.- Sunday ($400 deposit total against your card, but take the hold off the day you check out and after you pay for your room charge of $577.00)

If you book your room at the Rio through Expedia or one of those other companies, you know those companies usually charge the entire amt of the room to your card right away, but when you check in the Rio, the day you arrive, the Rio will still hold $100.00 per day deposit, against your credit card, depending on the length of your stay until the day you check out.

Now if you choose to call the Rio directly to book and you want them to take the whole amount of your stay out before the day you arrive, then what they will do is charge you just the initial fee for the first night, but they will have to fax an authorization to you giving them permission to go ahead and charge the rest. Then the day of your check in, you will have to pay a total cash deposit of $200.00 that they will hold and return it to you the day you check out. Now keep in mind the deposit amount depends on how long you stay at the Rio, so make sure you inquire about that when calling the Rio, whether you book your room through an outside agency or the Rio.


If the Rio is too expensive, then try the Gold Coast, it's right across the street from the Rio.
