without wishing to sound stupid, when we all grab our seats at the hammersmith apollo for the soundcheck, does that mean we are forced to stay in our seats to ensure no-one else nabs them prior to the show?

i assume people will be able to go and drink in the bar before the show, but how do you ensure the safety of your seat???
