Anyone travelling from Scotland to London/Manchester?

Is anyone travelling from Scotland to the gigs in London/Manchester? If so maybe we could share a ride/travel together as sad I have no-one to go with. I drive so dont mind sharing my car to Manchester but would probably fly to London unless someone else fancies driving and I can contribute to petrol.

Yup! Have already booked my flight down south tho'.Sounds like u hail from a completely different area anyway (central belt/borders?),as nobody in their right
mind is going 2 drive 500+ miles 4 a gig, irrespective of how talented the band or inspirational its leader.
Not 2 surprised our man is giving us the big bodyswerve yet again;it's highly questionable whether he could sell out either the Clyde Auditorium or Royal Concert Hall with only 4 weeks notice at the kind of hefty prices which he would have 2 charge in order 2 make the trip financially viable. After all,his profile is probably at its lowest here since 1982.On hearing about the upcoming dates, one of my colleagues expressed amazement,as he was under the impression Prince was no longer actively touring or recording(he thought Prince hadn't released a single since 1995!). Nor am i shocked that u r travelling alone,as die-hard fans r in drastically short supply up here.Hope u enjoy the gigs;going on the wee snippets i've heard from the american leg they should b SENSATIONAL!

I'll probably head down (from Dundee) to either London or Manchester. Travelling and staying in London is expensive, I wonder if Manchester would be more affordable?

Hey Saxjedi are you thinking of London or Manchester (or Dublin?). If we head to Dublin, I know we can get cheap Ryanair flights from either Prestwick, Edinburgh or Aberdeen.

Going to London... well Scotairways are really expensive so I guess I might have to fly with Easyjet, they have some pretty cheap flights to Luton and Gatwick (not sure about Manchester at all though).
