Hello Everyone!
I had an awesome time last night and went to see the show on my spring break. I met some awesome fans as well and I think I was the youngest one (im 21) and they made me feel quite wonderful, not intimidated at all!.

For People who did meet me, I was the girl, with the purple hat, who had the sign "Hello Mr. Nelson, Hire me as an intern!"...Yes I want a job so sue me lol and Im graduating with a degree in marketing

I met 2 fans who came all the way from madrid spain, and one fan from Tokyo!

OK ABOUT THE SHOW

We were let inside kinda early but we still had to wait for "the man', DJ rashida had background videos of everything from Cabaret to Krush Groove and I commend her for the videos and her DJ skills. At first it was a bit awkward with her mixing but as soon as she got into Prince songs and hip-hop she found her groove..

So the show starts, and Im in the front, right behind his many guitars and his guitar techs who were awesome people. Cora(who went to my University HOWARD UNIVERSITY YAYY) was simply an awesome drummer as well as the others. The set started out with satisfied, then they went into Lolita, and Black sweat

I liked all of those songs live ESPECIALLY Black Sweat!..The other songs were a blur but he did play "Kiss", Purple Rain,If I was your Girlfriend, Mike did "A Wonderful World", his new song which was amazing live. I got his used guitar pic which was a real treat for me, and another lady right beside me got his towel. During the show he had kindof a monologue teasing the ladies which was quite fun to watch the rest of the ladies in the audience go insane. The man also dances quite wonderfully for his age and it seemed like a sensual show with the verbal teasing, the way he opened up his jacket to show his chest lol...but I thought Jehovah Witnesses's were kinda strict on that sort of thing??

He came out for an encore in which they played Crazy and a wonderful (and I think he was tearing up on) Nothing Compared 2 U

Overall a wonderful experience ! Even though I didnt get my internship on the spot just being there was a truly wonderful experience which I am glad I was apart of. I did not get into the aftershow but was in the backroom, i left kinda half way due to being so tired, but the stuff I did hear was simply AMAZING...I also met one of the twins who are genuinly nice human beings and I shook their hand, I couldnt take a pic with them though cause they were worried if prince came in the aftershow he might be upset at camera flashes..I was perfectly fine with that....

I love his music and I have worked in the music industry before interning with major labels like BadBoy so Im not even star struck...When I see Prince I see a human being like me who just happens to play great guitar lol... I hope and pray that one day I can work in his organization since I love his music and music in general so much with a passion. My last words is that I think for him to truly fight against record labels and how they restrict artists he needs to start guiding and training young people like me interested in working in the music business field so that in the future we can help and guide a new generation of artists without restricting their creativity.....sooooo BRING OUT THE INTERNSHIPS PRINCE!

If you can go to this show, because from everyone i talked to, this was an awesome show and I guess he is making the shows so awesome because he is heading out...hope to see you guys Tonight on the 24th

I had so much fun hanging with you and Eric in line. Thanks for making my usual "8 hours in line" a bit more enjoyable. Enjoy your used guitar pic. I didn't fight you cause I already have 3 of them. Your internship is on the way!
