P****d Off!! Im beginning to think that Prince employs remedials to keep his wage bill down. Surely they shoulda calculated or at least estimated the number of UK members they have, most of whom are obviously pretty devoted to be a member in the 1st place and therefore would make every effort to make all these shows. That being the case why didnt they limit the club tickets to one per member and also employ a fairer ballot system for tickets where it isnt biased to those who have actually got access to a computer at 10am, let alone a fast conection! it should have been done by email over a few days and then by a draw, similar i believe to how the cafe de paris was done. ive emailed the same argument to npgmc, no doubt ill get the usual automated shite response!!
if i dont get club tix for manchester he can stick his $100 up his hairy little arse next year!

And if you got tickets you would not be saying this would you or supporting other fans disapointment.

Well, of course I would not be p**d off if I had a ticket, mainly because I wouldn't notice there was anything wrong... (until I readd this forum...whatever). I DO have broadband and I DO have access at 10am. What I DO NOT have is a ticket. Not fair, not nice, no point.
I agree that the point of the music club was to get the fans something special for a little more money. Now, either NPG should count their members in a particular area and try to give them tickets, or don't make it part of the deal but 'surprise' NPG members with a draw or something when a concert tour comes up. Very disappointing. K. A new home for deep funk:

Then you had a better chance than other people who aren't on ADSL, you had the opportunity and thats all Prince states on his site, did you question this beforehand...I guess not !

for god's sake - members have every right to be annoyed with this situation.
we pay $100 a year primarily (for many at least) to get a chance of great seats. it is one of the main selling points of the club and if they cannot deliver (and, yes, i realise the limited ticket aspect) then people have a right to be pissed off. and yes, i did get a ticket, but i totally understand how upset people who failed - through no fault of their own - will be. even with a ticket, i think the club is going to find members dropping like flies at the end of this year.

I paid those $200 (2001 &2002) to have the privilege of getting the best tickets for his shows IF he decides to come to europe. If I now see that the chances are big that I might not get what was promised, I for sure will not join th NPG-MC ever again. Prince is currenly losing his credit at high speed due to not fullfill his promises... Where are all those CD's he promised ? (4 were promised, 1 is delivered.. 3 to go in 3 1/2 months?? don't think so) Why do members not get the promised tickets? starbass - are u for real? if you pay good money on the basis of the promise of certain things then u have a right to be pissed off if they dont materialise, dont u think?

I have also now finally got tix for the london shows, after emailing a complaint to npgmc of course. i also emailed them back thanking them for sorting the mess out but in hope that they have learnt from the shoddy way in which it was organised, npgmc is a business and should be run like one, not like a tuck shop where if the sweets run out its tough! u dont get no more! it cannot possibly be that hard to estimate the demand for premium tickets, since they have all the subscription numbers etc.
a good yardstick to think of how well the npgmc is run is to have a think would u buy shares in it? ill be damned if i would! might as well piss it up against the wall

erm TweetyV6 what about the 12 albums worth of downloads and the videos in year 1? The 4 new discs 4 this year( which will all have arrived b4 the year is out- patience is a virtue - if they have not arrived then, then u can complain not now). The 3cd LIVE set!!
4 70 qwid its worth it. Do u expect Prince 2 come round 2 ur house 2 give u a private gig? Be reasonable...I'm xteremely happy with the NPGMC - the only problem really is the lack of specific info on a regular basis.

I only got 1 CD. The Live set will be released in shops and we will still have to pay extra for it - Served first - does not imply free. http://www.goldiesparade.co.uk/ - Prince discography, tour history, news and more.
