The truth at Bunker's 03/24: what a disappointment! For those who are interested in ex. and current members of Prince's band:
I arrived at Bunker's at 9.20 and the band started playing at 9.30pm. Kip was on the drums (I didn't know he could play drums) and did a fantastic job. JellyBeans Johnson was there too and did his thing. Eric leeds played saxophone just a couple times. I had no idea who everybody else was. The place wasn't crowded at all as I've seen in the past. They started jamming for almost an hour an took a break. I was so bored already. Then, finally 2 songs: hey Joe! and Superstition and then some more jamming. I was litterally falling asleep. 11.30 I couldn't take it anymore so I crossed the street and headed to another place so I could dance salsa. It's the first time they disappointed me, I hope they'll put on a better show next time. | |

Only been once to Bunkers and that was back last year. We had a great night, the place was busy but not so you could not move. If I found myself back in MPLS I would be sure to try and go again.
Maybe we fell lucky! | |
