I got a ticket to the Orpheum 5/19 I am a Citibank AAdvantage card holder and went to the site this morning at 9am to buy tickets for Prince at the Orpheum on May 19th. I logged on at 8:58 and was able to go straight to Ticketmaster to select tickets. Then I encountered a big problem - the site required a password. The e-mail I had received from Citibank didn't say anything about a password - so I was confused! I called Citibank and was on the line with them for about 25 minutes before figuring out the password. YIKES!
To make a long story short, I just bought one ticket in hopes of getting a better seat. I am in the orchestra section, row AA which looks fairly far back on the left side of the stage. Ticket prices were $225 for orchestra & loge - $170 for mezzanine - $90 for balcony. I went back on-line a couple minutes later to see if there were any better tickets available, and although I tried 3 times, but it seems there were no more tickets available! So, I guess I am lucky to be in after being such a dork with the password. "This is just another one of God's gifts....." "This is just another one of God's gifts..."

The password is the first 6 digits of your CitiBank AAdvantage card number. I just looked and they have tickets off and on. Try again. Good luck!!! Do U ever wonder why?

That's what I used. the first 6 numbers. Could it be that maybe you are not using the right card? If you click where it says learn more, it will tell you the same thing. Also, the most expensive tickets are not gone. Do U ever wonder why?

Yeah, but what's stupid is that they don't even have the tickets yet, because of the 72 hour waiting period. I hope people know that before sending them money today. I'm just confused. People say that there are no more tickets and just now I bought another set of tickets for some friends. Granted they're not the best seats in the house but there are still seats available for both orchestra and mezzanine. Do U ever wonder why?

Ticketmaster said something about needing to verify that purchases were made with the correct card, and obeyed the purchasing limits. The transactions that don't qualify get cancelled. So, some folks might get a chance at these returned tickets. [Edited 3/20/07 15:17pm] Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com
