I saw a picture of the bar on the theaters website...I have to at least have one glass of wine to calm me down before the show. Not beer tho, it'll go right thru me, and I'll have to pee real bad during the show, I will not want to get up from the show for that!!!!! lol

I know! If I have to go during the concert, I'm just going to hold it! lol

With the price we're paying, 10 minutes in the restroom is money wasted.
[Edited 3/21/07 10:56am]

amen to that...but better than what they're paying on ebay wink

Naw, I feel really good considering I got that price for scalping. Yeah if you live in Vegas and go General Admission, it could be cheap.

But I had to pay $220 to fly, $175 for 2 night stay, $350 VIP ticket (I prefer over GA!!) and $50 for aftershow.

Not complaining about it just sayin most people ended up spending the $$$ I did because most people don't live in Vegas, they visit Vegas

Nevermind the $$$ I blew over the canceled show on January 5th

that is exactly why we could not go to Vegas...i have been reading the concert reviews, etc... for Vegas for months and have been green with envy, so 450 for two tickets did not seem so bad to us, ALOT cheaper than Vegas!!!!!

unbelievable. We had VIP about 4 feet away from the stage. The show was short for Prince (90 mins) but the aftershow was unbelievable, lasted until 5:50am and he even sat at our table at one point...LOL

He came up to our booth and did a nod like "whats up", then sat down right at the head of our table talking to the two Italy girls. He literally was 3 ft away and I could sorta hear his conversation but the music was blaring LOUD from the band. It was so cool just to be there and I didnt want to overstep my bounds. I hate the fans that do anything to attract attention to themselves. There was 1 chick that was embarrassing about it and P ignored her razz razz

Maybe harsh, but definately a grain of reality. "Forcing" or atleast encouraging people to sign up for a card (they don't need?) to see him play at a reasonable cost is defferent than saying I'm playing here in Vegas "pay up".

How much of this should be a surprise when he's been hanging with the LA crowd for some time now. They write the book on being hypocrits. Trumpeting causes like clean air from the private jets. mad

sorry but I don't get the "forced" business. are we not adults, do we lack the intelligence and maturity to just say no or wait for the next show. I just don't get it.

We're talking about our opinions of how this could be thought of. I can see paisleyperks being upset. People, have been trying to sign up this card just to go. "Forced" aka requirement isn't inclusive and about the music/free spirit funk soldiers movement. When you can't go unless you get a certain credit Card, that's different than fundraiser. Sure, most of us are adults and can make $ decisions. On the org on not, people don't make good money decisions.

I'm spending 1K+ for the 3121 experience and damn psyched

i understand. I didn't get upset about it cuz like I said, I don't have to go and I'm not signing up for no credit card, but I am dissapointed in the setup. I just hope the NPGMC comes back soon. neutral

I wasn't upset, just surprised with the "what's the big deal" response. The is an exclusive money grab. If this was in the 80's I would have been crushed. I trampled over wanna be PR fans to get my tix.
He could have kids that just saw the Super bowl and would like to check him out.

If the next tour prices are like this, I'll have to win a lottery or get a pretty big raise biggrin

If he does tour with $90 nose bleeds seats, I for one will pass. I'm spending 1K+ for the 3121 experience and damn psyched biggrin

Man, what's up with $90 tickets being considered cheap, i.e. "nose bleed seats"? I would possibly consider paying $200+ per ticket to see Prince *only* if it was guaranteed that he was going to play every nasty, funky, swear word havin' song that he hasn't otherwise played in the last 10 years. And I mean GUARANTEED, as in if Prince failed to deliver/perform, the money was returned to me in full.

Don't get me wrong, I fucking love me some Prince (in fact I'm a purple addict like most of y'all on here), but I've got rent to pay, a car payment, a credit card, medicine to buy, etc.

If I had much more money lying around I'd no doubt feel much differently...but I thought I was really splurging paying $75 to $100 on the Musicology tour, even considering that they were club seats (which were not always better than most of the other seats in the place, although occasionally they were amazing).

If Mani is really taking the man to the bank in their divorce settlement (as I've seen references to) then I'm really not sure why fans of Prince's live music should pay for it. Dude's got BANK, anyways. You think he don't?
