You pay the balance every month.
If you travel alot, it's ideal as you accumulate points for seat upgrades and free airline tickets.

Nobody who pays their balance off every month should settle for a card that charges 18.5% interest. That type of rate is for people who carry a balance AND are late on monthly payments.

i agree..unfortunately the way the credit card industry works now is a total sham. You could never have been late on a payment, but merely have high balance to credit limit ratio on any account (not just theirs), and they jack up the interest rate to like 18%. If you have high rates AND are late on a payment they typically hike it up to like 25%!!!

Total sham! I think if you have never missed a payment, your rate shouldn't increase merely because you have a high balance on an account, especially when it is even that particular credit card with the high balance!

Luckily I keep low to virtually no balance on my accounts so I have a good rating and good rates. Heaven forbit I ever had to actually use the cards and carry a balance!

I have a feeling since Prince loves the Bay Area, He will add another show to here since this show will most likely sellout. Its too bad that some fans have to pay out extra cash to see him.I live here in the Bay Area and I can`t remember him just doing just ONE show here then leaving. 2 months is plenty of time to plan this.

I just have to warn everyone, I am a total light weight when it comes to booze! Half a glass of wine is enough to have me hitting people and shouting emabarassing comments during the concert. In other words, don't let me drink! lol

I saw a picture of the bar on the theaters website...I have to at least have one glass of wine to calm me down before the show. Not beer tho, it'll go right thru me, and I'll have to pee real bad during the show, I will not want to get up from the show for that!!!!! lol

I know! If I have to go during the concert, I'm just going to hold it! lol

With the price we're paying, 10 minutes in the restroom is money wasted.

We're talking about our opinions of how this could thought of. I can see paisleyperks being upset. I was the one that brought up the word "hypocrit", but ONLY in the context of the hollywood crowd he's been hanging with. Sure, most of us are adults and can make $ decisions. This is different than a fund raiser.
If he does tour with $90 nose bleeds seats, I for one will pass. I'm spending 1K+ for the 3121 experience and damn psyched biggrin

I don't know exactly how Prince is being 'hypocritical', he was against being a 'slave' to his record label, ie he wanted to be in charge of his own destiny and direction, he never said he was against charging lots of money for tickets, in fact he was always very keen on 'being number 1 at the bank' so now that he is the master of his own destiny, that's exactly what he can do when he feels like it. This seems to me like a one-off relatively intimate gig and he does have a habit of charging heavily for those these days, the days of cheap entry first-come first-served for intimate aftershows are long gone I'm afraid. Prince has cottoned on finally that there are plenty of people out there with the cash to still sell-out such venues at very high prices, and I'm sure that very fact flatters his ego about being much in demand and at the top of the game.

Still, I would not expect even he would get away with such deals and prices on a proper tour run, when and if it next happens.

Well said! thumbs up!
