I have tickets for Saturday's 3/24 concert but would like to attend the aftershow on Friday. I know there is a $50 dollar charge for the aftershow but do I need to attend the concert on 3/23 to score tickets to the aftershow. Trying to figure out how it works. Or who to speak with on Friday to score aftershow tickets.

When we went in February, we went to the Friday aftershow and Saturday show. On Friday we got in line around 12:15am or so and there were about 8-10 people in line ahead of us. When it got closer to aftershow time, things got a bit crazy and we ended up being almost the last people in the main room!!! There was a HUGE line behind us, and they were able to sit in the adjacent room (which is no charge, and still a chance to hear the aftershow). And from the recent March org posts, it sounds like it is getting crazier and crazier in that aftershow line with VIP craziness. Good luck, though, it is worth trying!

next two weekends will be nuts at the aftershows.....the VIP line is starting to look like the Paris Hilton party line or something

the jazz cuisine staff usually will find out first if there will be a show or not

it doesnt matter if u goto the show or not.. what matters is being in line and being b4 the cut off point.. if u are not going to the friday show.. i would just go over to the jazz cusizne around 12:30 or so hang ask them if there is an after show and get in line.. depending on how many vips are there depends on how many regular people get in.. saturdays nite i just made it in... people that were behind me got in to the big room with no charge (tho i dont know how long they were there for for.. but b4 the last 2 songs they did get in to the jazz room but prince was long gone.. but they heard the music just fine..

so u want to be close so u can see what is going on.. i went over to the JC at 11pm and they said there was going to be an after show and prince had is list already...
