It sounds like that's a presale offer for those cardholders, better hope there aren't a lot of Prince fans in that group...

Yeah, I was just reading about it on that site...seems it would give those cardholders presales/priority seating/VIP passes to concerts, etc. The card is tied in with American Airlines and I believe Citibank. It's actually a CITI AAdvantage Card. .

Fine print....

No, I think it has to specifically be the Citi/AA Advantage card. This is different from Citibank, Citi is a different entity that partners with companies to issue branded cards. I have a Citi card that is not included in this offer unfortunately.

Thanks, PK.

That's a good mid-size venue for Prince, though not nearly as good as the Fillmore (and, of course, 3121). The place to be would be the floor. The theater isn't huge and any seat would be considered "good." Much more intimate than a stadium. Let's hope I can get a ticked onto the floor. I have an AA Advantage card, but not one of thier credit cards and I aint signing up for one just for this. Any word on prices yet?

I'm glad now that I didn't blow 1k on a trip to Vegas, even if it would have been fun. Hopefully there will be an aftershow in SF, as well. I'm so glad he's not playing a stadium!!! I hope this is for real.

but are the floor seats there good? does anyone know, because the floor seats at the HardRock were terrible and it didn't help that the fans were not up front. mad

maybe I was wrong, I just saw this??? eek eek eek

Oprah cut out of early to hit Mary J.’s show, which, at times, felt a bit like an episode of Winfrey’s talk show. Billed as a Storytellers-like “journey,” the concert, an exclusive event open only to Citi/Aadvantage credit card holders, offered Blige a chance to empower women…in her own special way. Bringing down the house with powerhouse songs such as “Take me as I am,” and “Good woman down,” Blige told her legions, “with my big shoes, my big lips, my weave, I know I look good,” and encouraged them to embrace themselves the same way: “I don’t care if you ain’t got a perm!” Apparently, it worked for the enthusiastic crowd, and for Oprah, who was on her feet, hands in the air and shakin’ it…diva style.

How long is Mary J going to play the victim????? neutral rolleyes I'm sooooo tired of hearing the same ol' story EVERY time she opens her mouth. Everybody's been through stuff and if lucky enough been blessed to come out okay, but DAMN already, shut up about it.

Sorry, I had to let that out, now. . . back to our originally scheduled programming. . .
