thanks katt! well spoken.
it certainly would be a trust exercise, wouldn't it? for my part, i am willing to trust. if somebody were to purchase a ticket on my behalf, i would pay them ahead of time so that they don't have to worry about getting burned. this means, of course, that *I'd* then be the one worrying about getting burned. but as i say.. i am willing to trust. i believe in the goodness of people and in the "community" of prince fans. katt, what you're talking about is good faith between prince fans, and that's a great thing! thanks again for your input.

I can get a spare ticket for the Saturday gig, if that will help anyone. Just let me know, first come, first helped!
In the past, I've bought spare tickets and sold them on at face value. The recipient's delight at better seating has always made it worthwhile. I've never had a problem with doing this kind of thing. In fact, all that ever happens is that I get to meet great people and watch a great gig together! I would have helped out the Manchester people as well (as I'm not attending those gigs), but the collection on the night thing is too much of a problem. HTH Max ...I go 2 the max...I'm not afraid...I wanna dance...

I understand your plight, but it looks like security will be tight. Tickets are to be picked up at the door with proof of identity (photo ID) corresponding to your member details plus 1 guest who also will be carded! If anyone were to get you a ticket you would need fake papers just to pick up your ticket. Each member is limited to 2 tickets. Go for it if you can but be careful you might get disappointed on the night, just some friendly advice. If I were you I would be ready at ticket master in two days time. Get there early and you could be at the front of the auditorium anyway, one row won't make a lot of difference. At least you know you would definitely get in and see the show. Good luck.

What is this a sob story?
Never mind the concept of 'family', what about the concept of an exclusive club? I'm damned if I've been a NPGMC member from day one and supported the venture only to have these whiners abuse it. If you haven't joined the club buy a normal ticket on Monday morning. They don't deserve the benefits of a membership they have NOT paid for. The price of a single ticket is the price of the entire annual membership. If they can afford a ticket now, then they could have afforded to join the club.

Nice One Mr7
This is 2002 not 1992, the Prince family of fans does not exist like it used to..all I see is a bunch of whiners who complain at every move the guy makes. I am now pleased I joined NPGMC even though I could not really afford it. I think its pretty good value so just get normal tickets and enjoy the show. Its not the be all and end all of life so just get on with it.

Prince states on his website that fans have the "opportunity" to take part in pre-sales, he has kept his promise, you had the chance to get tickets...you didn't, buy a normal one and be happy.
