I'm staying at the Rio and just checked with the front desk. He's not playing today. "He cancelled".

what about the Thursday dates.. typing error or real ?

I just called the Rio box office and they say that those dates reflect ALL events at Club 3121 not just Prince. But then I asked her who's performing tonight and she said no one. So, I'm like, "Well, why is the 3rd listed???" So, he's not performing on Thursdays, just Fridays and Saturdays.

when i asked the Rio....they told me "Prince cancelled his shows because it's up to him" and they said it like they were not to fond of the man

Then, speculation about an upcoming tour is also in the air.

My friend just got back from Vegas late last night and she said there are advertsements all over the Rio for "Louie Prima Jr." playing every Wed & Thurs througout March, so I guess Prince isn't having "special guests" on Wednesday anymore? Then again after Corrine Bailey Rae and Lauren Hill flaking out, it's probably a good idea. I'm just a little disappointed is all.

Louis Prima was there Thursday night when I went 2 weeks ago. I LOVE salsa music but decided to just do dinner at 3121 and go back to my hotel since I had the flu. Also, I received confirmation from a 3121 insider that it is over and the restaurant will go back to being Fiore steak house after March.
