WOW...$17,250 x 2 Was checking around to see the prices that other ticket brokers are selling the May 19th show for and I discovered the staggering price of $17,250!! on Ticketstub.com Plus, you have to buy two tickets in order to be able to buy it at that price.

Not really...it sounds like these are front row center. And Silicon Valley is not too far away...SF and San Jose is filled with millionaires (and some billionaires). $35K is nothing to them, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone paid it. [Edited 3/21/07 16:06pm] | |

This is probably the strongest argument for reinstating an official fan club w/pre-sales for members; it does seem to cut down on scalping from what I can tell. Just think of all that cash Prince will miss out on if those tickets sell at $17k.  That's a lot o'chedda.  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

damn right! is there no hope of relating our situation to him???? on ebay all the tickets are around $1000!!! This is sick, and if he is all about making money, wouldn't he rather we pay him than some assholes that happen to have a specific credit card and see an opportunity to make hella money off devoted fans?!?!?!?!?!? give her the eyes  | |
