Prince in Texas?

Does anybody know if Prince is ever going to come to Texas? I live there and would LOVE to see him.

If anyone knows anything, please. please PLEASE respond!

Thank you!
I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me.
Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots.
Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch

I predict that he will one day come to Texas.

I'll even go out on a limb and guarantee you that he'll even schedule a performance there after hiring and rehearsing a band, and he'll invite the public to buy tickets to observe the performance, and will put on a great show.

But only after you Texans unanimously apologize for electing an idiot as Governor and providing him a platform for stealing the Presidency and then destabilizing the world and ruining the future for everybody on the planet. hmph!

Wow, thanks for all the encouragement. I'm really hoping because I'm dying to see him in person--and see for myself how small he is! LOL!

I know it'll be alright as long as he sings "Lolita".

Why is he having an after party in Austin?

one's circumstances could always prevent. i know mine did until the musicology tour. after following his music since 1979, that was the first opportunity i had to see him in concert due to different circumstances wink

No need to hate on Texans. I can imagine that most Prince fans didn't vote for Dubya, anyway. Prince always stops in Houston. Houston is always one of his best shows. A guaranteed sell out. I've seen most of his Houston stops since the 'Purple Rain' tour. The 'LoveSEXY' Houston show was ridiculous.

One thing you have to deal with as a Prince fan is that concerts may be announced on short notice and until you see the man on stage there is no guarantee that the concert will take place! Just keep your ears open and be ready.

Oh and as far as the President goes, I am proud to have voted for him in both elections and last time I checked this was a topic about Prince concerts not politics.

Touchy. Too bad you thought Dubya was a good choice for president. I'm not gonna go there on a Prince fan website though.

Geez. Are you serious? The world was "destabilized" long before Pres. Bush took office. The world will never be the same after 9/11...lest ye forget. Pres. Bush has made his share of mistakes, but name me one man or woman who knew exactly what to do after 9/11. It's easy to second guess. But I guarantee no leading Democrat now running for office wanted to be in Pres. Bush's shoes. In fact, no MAN has the answers. Jesus is the answer. Read you bible as Prince often tells his fans to do. Stop the hyperbole and hate against our president. Do something about it. Demand answers from your favorite candidate. Cause I guarantee you there's not one running right now that has the answers. Peace all.

P.S. PLEASE play more 3121 shows PRINCE!

wave Me, for one. Go after Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. Accomplish that mission. Period.

Not allow your Vice-President and Secretary of Defense to doctor intelligence to create a fictitious pretext to start another war with a nation that had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with 9/11, or Osama, or that posed any threat to the U.S. whatsoever. Not arrogantly dismantle all of the Iraqi institutions that could have mitigated the sectarian rifts that every non-partisan expert predicted would explode the minute Sadaam was toppled. Not try to occupy a huge and volatile nation with one-third of the military resources your generals are telling you from Day One that they need to accomplish YOUR mission effectively.

Hell, even his Daddy knew from Desert Storm that containing Saddam was 100 times easier than dealing with the consequences of toppling him.

I guess that makes at least two of us.

Hate George Bush? No. He has simply gone out of his way to earn my contempt, though. I'm more heartbroken that he's the President of a nation in which so many people -- no names, no finger-pointing -- are blind to the fact that, in contrast to the Afghan mission, the Iraq mission is a horrible and completely avoidable misadventure, and that every American death in Iraq, however heroic and dutiful the soldier, is a complete and utter waste of that person's life.

And I hope my nephew makes it back to San Antonio in one piece this October so I can hook him and his wife up with some 3121 tour tickets, like I did with Musicology.
