What Happened to Presale?? I went to Rio in November, the very first weekend 3121 opened.
If you were an npg member there was a password you could use to get presale tickets. Also, you stood in a different line than general admission- which granted you entrance before anyone else. I was really close to the stage compared to general admission. Looks like the whole fan club wristband thing is gone, and now it's all general admission. Is that true? I want to go back in March but i am nervous about these long lines i keep reading about.

Too many gave out the passwords and that could be the reason they are not offering it anymore.I was there opening weekend as well, we didn't get the aftershow, but it was cool being there for the opening of it.

I went to the Friday and Sunday shows and there were no lines. The doors used to open at 10 pm but when I got there at 8:30 on Friday and 9:30 on Sunday they had already admitted everyone that was there. I copped a squat in front of the stage and waited for the show to start. I was in front of the stage both nights. Good luck and have fun!

yeah...people were giving the passwords out right here actually
and they didn't have a great system for the first few weekends.....picking club members out of the line and sending them up to the front past people that had been waiting there all day the looks i got from the people in line as i was ushered into the club told me that the pre-sale would be over soon i'm sure if the NPG musicclub was up and running it would have been much better then again....nowadays you only see about ten crazy folks in line at 6pm....while the rest come at around 10pm

Straight from the mouth of those of crazy 6 p.m. people, if you get there later you'll be fine. The very first time I went to 3121 last December, I got there at 8 p.m. and I was still very close to the stage. Most people don't show up until about that time anyway.
If you can, try to go on the left side of the stage (stage right). That's the place to be. Have fun. [Edited 2/21/07 21:25pm]

L I'm just, I'm just Levi from the org

L a message was sent to the email address of NPGMC members and with quickness the password was posted on the Org and Housequake before people complained and it got deleted.

They should of had separate lines from the start and it would have lessened the angry looks from people, who were there earlier standing on line before members who showed up until much later, but got in before them, plus they had the casino high rollers to deal with too..
