3121 details... So, I have been trying to keep up with all of the 3121 Vegas details, but there are some things I can't seem to find. I am going to be at the 2/23 show and want to make sure I don't miss anything:
1. Dress code--"Upscale Club"--what does that mean? No denim or sneaks? 2. Can I bring a purse in? Camera? Anything? 3. Where is the aftershow, or will it be obvious? 4. Am I correct in understanding that you can go to the aftershow and sit in the "outer room" even if you don't get a wristband? And it is still worth it? Just trying to develop a back-up plan... 5. If you have been there, what time do you recommend getting in line at 3121 before the show? I know some if these questions have been answered, but finding them is tough! Thanks everyone! How psyched am I????? Don't be shy, this won't hurt a bit
Unless of course U don't believe in it

We were just there last weekend 2/9 & 2/10 & there is a review posted...
I'll tell what I know 1). Dress code says upscale club No Jeans however, there were many there in jeans and they were allowed in. 2). No cameras allowed. 3). The aftershow is in the Jazz Cuisine 3121 restaurant and it's right before you get to the club. My advice, go early and look for it. The Rio is huge and circular and it's easy to get lost. 4). The in line "time" question is more complicated and everyone does it different. Here's what we did. We went to his main show on Friday night and stayed the whole time...(we did not try to go to the aftershow Friday night) some people leave early and get in line...Then Sat. we just went to the aftershow. We actually got in line @ 12:30 (read my review for details around this issue... the aftershow is ever changing also. Good luck! Hope U have fun!

In response to your questions....
I have worn denim both times that I went to 3121. Granted, it was dark denim with a nice shirt and heels, but denim nonetheless. I don't think the "upscale club attire" is enforced at all. People wear prince t-shirts, jeans and athletic shoes, but the majority of people are dressed to the 9s. You can bring in a purse, and a cell phone. The security guard will flash his light into your purse, but they don't actually search it. The first time I went people were pretty openly taking pictures, but this past Friday night, security was going though the crowd shoulder tapping those that were taking pics with cell phones. They were giving them "one warning" but hey, if you are slick enough you can take one or two without getting caught. The aftershow is at the 3121 restaurant which is to the left of the club. I think this subject has been covered in detail in reviews, but I never bothered to go to either one. If I was going to go to an aftershow for 70 extra bucks, I would rather pay 140 for a second show. As far as what time to line up for the show.... I went opening weekend and we lined up at 9pm. We were a lot farther back than I prefer, maybe 8 or 10 people back, but that was the opening weekend and true fans were deep. This past Friday night, we went at 9:30 and doors were already open, which freaked us out, but we ended up only 3 people back, perfect view without getting a stiff neck! :O) Hope that helps, lemme know if you want to know anything else.
