What to WEAR?! Try again. . .

Ok, so I'll admit it--I'm no clubber. First time to Vegas and I'm just a mom of 2 and an elementary school teacher. So ya'll help me out so I don't get turned away at the door for looking too lame! lol What's the right thing? Plus--I'm a big girl (16-18) so nothing too skimpy. . .

Also wondering what my hubby should wear. . .

Thanks in advance for any fashion assistance you can provide! fro

nothing too fancy....unless you really feel like it

they have let people in that look great and on the Wednesday night free shows I've seen a few people that appeared to be homeless

never seen them turn anyone away....but they throw at least one drunk gambler out each night, esp. on Wed

Here are some sites with nice dresses for curvy lovelies.

zaftique.com
alight.com
spiegel.com

I am wearing a strapless fuschia cocktail dress and a GOLD (ok, I will never be able to wear it again but I have never worn Gold and wanted the experience) halter dress.

Strapless and halters tend to flatter curvier shapes.

If you let me know your shape, I'd be happy to help you find specific dresses.

Also, you can always dress UP a dress with accessories, a arm full of gold bangles, a large stone on a necklace, etc.

Hubby: Black pants, black shoes, fun long sleeved shirt with buttons.

Best of luck!

don't sweat the "dress code". It just means no beat up jeans and sneakers. You could even wear nice jeans with a cool top and nice shoes. That being said, it is Vegas, so I'd encourage you to wear something you think is fun that you wouldn't normally have reason to.
Ask where they're going, they'll tell U – "Nowhere"
They've taken a lifetime lease on Paisley Park ...music

I'm an elementary teacher, too. And you know what?!? We teachers can look hot if we want to! So dress the way that makes you feel good and you will naturally look good! It's all about the energy! Feb. 9th, here I come!

Girlfriend, all you need is a smokin hot dress and some serious footwear and your good to go!!! I'm a plus size myself (although i've lost 12 lbs. in the last 3 weeks and am on track to lose 20 by the time I go to the Feb. 24th show.) I figure this is a once in a lifetime experience so do it up right!! Wear whatever is going to make YOU feel good!!! Forget what everybody else thinks.

Have a EXCELLENT time and PARTY DOWN LIKE JAMES BROWN!!!!!

Having already been to 3121 I would dress as comfortable as possible. I will dress as nice as I can next time I go but I am definitely wear flats. I don't know how some of the women out there can stand in heels for such a long time.
