VIP questions 4 the 9th

My husband and I have the VIP pkg for Feb. 9th. Very excited, but at the same time, I stress out becuz I want it all to go perfectly! I haven't seen Prince in such a small venue. While following the various topics in this forum, I have come up with some concerns & questions. Here go a few!
*We have dinner reservations @ 7pm and I'm wondering if I should try to make them earlier for fear of having to wait in a long VIP line.
*Are the VIP tables first come, first serve as I was told or are they assigned?
*Prince plays the previous Sunday at the Superbowl and the following Sunday he'll most likely be at the Grammy's. Think he'll still have an aftershow?
*And if he does, think the line for the aftershow will be hella crazy due to all the publicity from the Superbowl? How early should one line up?

Alrighty, enuff 4 now! In the end, I know I need to just relax and enjoy what will be!! It's going to be such an experience!

7pm is fine. I had mine at 8. If the tickets are first come serve- meaning when you show up- I'm not sure on why my tickets had assigned seats when handed to me. I thought if anything they were assigned when you purchase- I was on phone with the Rio within less than an hour of the date going on sale. But don't worry- there is NO bad VIP seat.
Personally, I don't think the Superbowl will do much for this gig but who knows? We talked to a lot of guys while gambling and quite a few were like "why is Prince at the superbowl?" It's such a different audience. A friends husband who is actually going to the Superbowl has been joking with me that he'll be sure NOT to watch the halftime show.
Can't say re: Grammy's.
Please see my recent posts for plenty of details- I'll gladly answer anything I can. biggrin

Thanx! I'm sure I'll come up with more questions as I wait and fret till the 9th! It's an excited anxiety--almost giddy!

Is there live jazz music during dinner? My husband is a huge jazz fan and he would just love that!
