Can anyone please help, were flyin over from the u.k to see prince and want to go to the aftershow, but do you have to have the v.i.p package?

no I had the package but I wasnt guaranteed

Can you go to the aftershow if you didn't go to the concert? Or do they require ID bands to get in? I was thinking of going to the aftershow on Friday, and then the regular concert on Saturday so that I don't have to miss anything!

No. My girlfiend and I are going in Feb. and I spoke w/ the 3121 club manager... he checked w/ the restaurant manager who says all you have to do is... when Prince is done w/ his show, you go over 2 the restaurant and pay a $50.00 admission fee. U R in.

From reading the responses in this forum, many say you have to leave early to get in. I asked the manager that question, and he said that you didn't have to... perhaps people have actually experienced that if you didn't leave early U didn't get in? Is that true?

Depends on what you consider 'in'. If you want to get into the small band room, you need to leave early. You can sit in one of the exterior rooms and still hear the music fine and there'll probably be enough room there.

From what I hear the room holds around 50 people and there are like 900 at the show so it would be tempting fate to assume you would get one of the spots without leaving early especially when others are leaving early.
