I'm a pro musician, have been for 40+ years, and wanted to do something inspiring, rather than play another forgettable drunk-fest back here in Florida. So me and my keyboard player flew out to Vegas and went to 3121 for New Years Eve. Baddest show I've ever seen in my life, and I've seen a few. Prince is without a doubt the baddest mo-fo on the planet! This was the third time I've seen him, but the first time I've been able to check out what he was playing from 8-10 feet away. The man can burn on guitar. He even did a 5 minute bass solo. Smoked on a Fender Jazz bass.Going to see him at the Hard Rock down in Hollywood on the 31st. You got to experience people like this while they're still around and in their prime. I saw Hendrix in '68, then missed the next tour, then he was gone. I'll travel just about anywhere in the continental U.S. to witness the Supreme Funk of Prince. Might have to shell out some major bucks, but each of his shows are like a once in a lifetime experience, so it's worth it.
