Forgive me if my brain is a little foggy but last night's setlist consisted of:

Someone else can fill everyone in on the aftershow. At that point, it was all a blur.

I may be missing something but I am running on 6 hours of sleep in two days.

I was fortunate enough to see both of the Vegas shows this past May. I enjoyed last night's show way more than both of them. 3121 sounded great to me. Everything just sounded better like there has been the opportunity to flesh out the songs more. Cora kicked major ass during Shhh.

The best thing about Prince music is the feeling it gives you that everything is gonna be alright. There is only one word to describe how I felt last night and that is JOY. Prince's playing during Puprle Rain, JIR and during the aftershow was superb. Not only that, but I had the opportunity to spend some quality time with members of my NPGMC and Org families. The fact that Prince has brought some many people together is a testament to the power of his music.

Everyone should try to get to 3121. It was worth every penny.

Me and Amy are going in two weeks. Hope Prince shows up

I couldn't make out the name of the lady singing. Shelby. At first I thought it was india.arie then I thought it was Tamar... then I was just like... I don't know who that is, but she can sing!

I'm curious about this Shelby person--do you have any more info on her? Was she there all three nights or just for New Year's Eve?

That started off with this local band called Mosaic, which was these five talented cats that used no instruments. There were no Prince songs played at all.

No count down because I don't think Prince would celebrate New Years?
I was confused at first on 3121 New Years concert promotion but then it was changed to Dec. 31st promotion. I am sure it was an error Prince quickly had corrected.

Since my head is clearer, I also wanted to mention how nice security was to all of us as we wanted over 10 hours (in shifts) to be be at the front of the stage.Even though I had VIP, I still wanted to help out. At one point, we talked to Mr. Hayes, Mike Phillips and the kicker was P's executive chef, Lena Morgan, coming over to ask us if she could get us some coffee. She was even nice enough to bring back tea for those who wanted it and some biscuits. She was awesome!!!

Whomever goes, if there is a chance to go to an afterset, go. There is nothing like Prince playing a guitar in a room that only holds about 40 people. I was in heaven. I am officially in love with Mike Phillips, too. I can't remember the whole set list but Greg and Maceo did a little of the horns from the beginnning of P Funk (Wants To Get Funked Up). I was shaking my head that part was so good. The guys would switch up from Mr. Hayes to Renato Neto and everybody got a chance to showcase their talents.

I'll post more as I remember.
